Don't know what it is about the original Murci but I just love it. I don't doubt for a minute that the 640 is far superior!!
Tin of beans on the spoiler will be arranged this week, I am going back home on wed so provided I can load up the piccies will sort for then. The 2.7 and 550 will also be in shot. 550 is sadly no longer mine, its making way as part of a deal on the 288 which is on its way from italy I'm dead serious. A magnum of Pomerol for a shot of Beans on F50.

Andy - you're not very tall so I'll drive and you can shotgun?
Get the Pomerol out of the cellar then.....that is such a nice gesture that I might actually go home and do it tomorrow!

Off topic slightly but its amusing owning muliple supercars in that it can often put the odd t**t in their place. Without wanting to sound awfully arrogant I was walking into the gym changing room a few months ago where some of the macho bicycle pumped up brigade were slagging the 640 I'd pulled up in earlier. They couldnt help but throw a sarcatic comment over in my direction about how Ferrari's were far better and how I should get one. 'I've six of them thanks' I replied. I still smile when I remember their faces

I love it when people get called, be it for sport or because they're thought to be blaggards, and then the pic's get delivered. Fave out late was the Plato thread,.....though we didnt get treated to any car pics. simonspider said: Off topic slightly but its amusing owning muliple supercars in that it can often put the odd t**t in their place. While I've only met you the once (and that was a long time back, when I think you only had SG54) you certainly didnt come across like a big head, just a proper carnut.

PistolP....I'm looking forward to seeing the pics; I think to finish the thread off properly though we'd need to see the bottle of Pomerol on the bonnet of the rest of the collection!

Not sure what your problem is but usually when people post on here asking advice they update the thread with what they have done. You have an amazing collection cars and I look forward to seeing the pictures.

I don't have a problem mate, apart from a lack of garage space!
I think it was pretty obvious that you were trying to humiliate me but all is forgotten and forgiven. There should be enough Pomerol in the magnum for you to have a glass as well. The reason I don't post pics is because I am lazy and one example of a car looks pretty similar to any other example, colour aside. I also don't like to cock wave unecessarily. Anyway, shall we move on?
As said before I am heading home tomorrow and I'll pop into the supermarket on route.

And not only that, I seem to recall that Andy was there as well, or at least popped by. This was at the Mulberry meet I helped organise in 2008.

pistolp said: Andy - a bit like how you race R300's last year, when you didn't? I saw you did this year and you were pants. Back to polishing the car collection I guess
For the record, the cars I currently own
F40 F50 288 GTO 2.7RS 993RS (for sale) 997RS (for sale) 355 Challenge Stradale CSL Elan Sprint Elise mk1 R300 Roadsport XFR - bought this week because my M3 was stolen 123d - at the dealer as we speak
I could go on but...I am really considering a murcie because I currently own 2 CS's which I think I will sell. The NSX is something I have considered owning for a while but probably never will. Didn't think people on here minded each other discussing cars they might like to own. Andy, you got this one wrong old son and if you fancy doing R300 again next year I am happy to give you some pointers. Shall I get the custard? I'd like to nominate this post for the 2010 'I'm considerably reecher than thou' Pistonheads post award. Classic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHo2pXO_XAI
