The F40 is an awesome car, much nicer than the F50 in my eyes, who wouldn't flog their kidneys and soul to own one.

You'd have to be seriously rich to own such a beauty, the servicing costs would be turn off and fear of something expensive braking for me, seen one for sale recently that said in the advert 'recent 12K Ferrari service' and he wasnt talking about the miles, ouch.

not in my book ! looks like a pimp mobil,for me this has to be one of the worst Vipers ever!I hope it all peels off for the owners sake,mind i guess it does give a bit of protection from stone chips!

That was the display car for a company that makes stick on decals. They're very high quality decals and do come off easily

But its still a Viper and it was at Pistonfest last year

I agree it's too "bling bling". But there's some multicoloured Viper in the USA.

This isn't a "nothing can beat my Viper" and nothing was said about how well the F40 kept up because the race couldn't happen because of traffic. The only way to say how well the F40 could have kept up would be by using figures/stats. None of the Viper owners are ignorant or arrogant either.

The reason why Vipers lost out to Skylines at TOTB1/2 was because the Skylines are in a much higher state of tune. Simple. Some of the owners have spent a little into 6 figures (excluding the car) into their cars. Put the same into a Viper and the results would be better. Needless to say really, Nads did well last year.

As a non-Viper owner I have seen many posts that are arrogant about the cars performance. However, I retracted my statement on this thread, which you either chose to ignore or didnt bother to read. Never accused a Viper owner of being ignorant. Not sure where that came from.

I do like Vipers. A friend of mine has recently owned one and I was in awe. It just appears to me that most owners see their car as being the fastest 4 wheel machine on the planet, and if anything else is faster, its cheated with Nos, had £100k thrown at it or just not fair.

I appreciate there are owners of all marques that hold a fantasist's view that they own the quickest car of them all. Just seems that its a prerequisite of Viper ownership.

Problemis mate that most of the time we get stuck in with cars that cost 2-6 times as much and that is hard to match.

Venom don't mean it he is just one of our more......outspoken owners.

All the Viper owners I know do charity rides, not very many are rich, its just a very affordable car with Supercar Performance. ran on the track with a 360 and I had to give him a ride as he could not believe how fast it was and how good it handled, mind you I think he would have gone quicker with the t/control off!

We drive cars that are very hard to get the best from with no launch control/ traction control or even ABS but we can mix it with the best.

This year at TOTB we will have a team of 2 stock, 2 supercharged and two nos last year we were over 170 mph in bog standard road cars!!!!!!
