I think E340 MRP is my old GT5 Pantera. I bought it from Pullicino's with the reg 888NAL but I seem to remember
that the original plate was E340 MRP.

Heathmans was run by Barry Martina (The Lambo Man) and David Stevens.

When I visited, it was one of their wives who was there and she knew more about cars than anyone I had ever met. She seriously impressed me!

there used to be a supercar dealer at this time on Finchley Road, near Finchely Rd and Frognal in the late 70s/early 80s. I remember a silver Espada there in their window

I remember these 2 brothers in Knutsford (Laurence & Carl Cookson) who sold a car rental business for quite a few ££ in the 80's - they always had 2 brand new Lambo's parked up in King St (Knuts), I remember standing for what seemed like hours staring at their matching Countach's, then Diablo's then various Murci's - was the highlight of my day seeing those two cruising through town in convoy.

Oddly I ended up buying an 05 Murci from Lambo M'Cr that belonged to one of them (I ended up even running the thing with Laurence's plate on it whilst it was going on retention) - as I kid I would never have dreamt I would own one of their cars

Happy days.
Was their company called Town and Country? Seem to remember some fo their ads somewhere.

Pretty sure the Koenig 308 belonged to music producer Derek Bramble, I saw it in person sometime in the 80s.

Well well well, that's the car i've recently bought!

According to the HPI report it wore 30 DCD between 11/11/94 and 04/10/96

I know who the 1st owner was and then who the 4th owner was [who bought the car in '98], but i don't know who the 2nd and 3rd owners were.

Robert can you fill me in on any details? Thanks.

30DCD used to be at the Carrera Sport days held at Goodwood & Castle Combe.

It's listed here:

Seems like S7paul will have a photo or two of it.

Edited to add link to photos:

DVLA form V888 (cost is £5) to request copies of what the DVLA has on file for your car (i.e.) previous owners etc. You need to give a reason for wanting it but researching the history of a car you own is valid. You can download the form here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/v888-re...

Hi to all, my name is Jason and I used to work at Pullicino Classics as their valter and driver I know mark and john and Keith for some time and my good friend Steve Robinson. and not forgetting Mary marks dog.

I loved it there great guys to work with and the cars were great and some l loved driving to.
I got to meet a few famous people like Jay kay Jamiroquai when he brought in a 850 bmw I think he said he got it from the chairman of sony it had a amp in the back of the car that was mega big and I had to take it out for j. also he brought in his old bmw I think it was a bmw 2002 when cleaning it out the amount of rizlas papers I found in the car was mad.

some of the best cars there when I was working there were the silver XJ220, the blue EB110 the yellow drop top twin turbo Koenig Testarossa. at the time we think we had Paul McCartney’s Lamborghini 400GT. there was one car that I think went to a museum it was a Lamborghini Flying Star.

any way It is very sad to here that mark had past away he was a great man.

Hi everyone, picking up on this post I went to see Mark P in late 99 and test drove that custard yellow 993 gt2 lookalike - it was very mean car and was converted/made by ROOKE I recall (can anyone confirm)...really wanted it but finance house said it was 'too lairy and risky' for them, so I bought John's 650 mile (V295HGS) Mk1 LHD speed yellow gt3 and I took it down to Sicily with Evo magazine for an 11 page Targo Florio some of you might recall...wish Id bought and kept the ROOKE though...any info on car though most welcome. Cheers Paul

I used to walk past a car dealer near Swiss Cottage in the early 2000s which always used to have a few super-cars in the showroom and several cars parked outside in the daytime. I think it was on Belsize Road next to a small roundabout. From memory they employed a night watchman to ensure that no one stole any cars at night. Am mighty annoyed with myself that I didn't take any photos!

I distinctly remember that there was a small Bang & Olufsen shop on Fairfax Road which was located just off the same roundabout.

The only reason I remember this is because we used to walk past the car showroom and the B&O shop on the way into town on a Friday and Saturday night, then stagger past in the early hours of the morning!

According to Google Street view it would appear that the whole building was since been knocked down and rebuilt, and is now operating as a trendy home interiors shop.

Can anyone remember the name of the dealer or perhaps post a few photos on here?
