Is that an EB110 alloy casually lying around behind the yellow TR?
Quite possibly - I seem to remember a blue EB110 being in the showroom at the same time....

They had three EB110's at one point, 2 regular and one SS. They were up for just over £100k but even then getting spares and keeping them usable on the road was not a simple thing to do. God knows now how easy parts are?

I am going to throw another Supercar dealing in here, does anyone remember Heathmans?
Yes!
I had no dealings with Heathmans but I did visit their showroom a couple of times in the late 1980's, I must have been around thirteen years old or so.
I remember some old Maseratis and a pink-ish/silvery coloured modified Pantera in there, I could scan some old photos later.

On the same day as one of my visits to Heathmans I also saw the bright pink Countach at Portman Lamborghini in George Street.

Good memories.

Fabulous place with amazing cars crammed into every inch of that Wandsworth showroom. I remember when I was 19 that I used to finish work on Friday afternoon then pick my best mate up in Southampton and we would drive up in my 2.8 Capri just so we could peer through the window for an hour. Then we would go for a drink in the West End try and pull the girls with the biggest shoulder pads (yes i said shoulder pads this was the 80's) get back to Southampton at about 3am empty handed as we weren't cool enough for London girls. Occasionally we would go up on a Saturday morning and sheepishly sneak inside for a look round.

Great times not a care in the world other than how to pay for the next set Goodyear NCT's for the Capri as we used to get through the rear ones rather rapidly.
^^^^^^^^ put a smile on my face smile

I used to know them very well and bought a selection of cars from them over the years, great people to deal with, true petrolheads.

Most interesting car I bought from them and still hanker after again was a Venturi 400 Thorphy that had been then converted at the factory to a 600LM and raced, best think was it was UK road registered :-) Made my F40 of the time seem like a heavy underpowered slug although the turbo lag took some mastering!
A bizarre question for you, SpeedYellow: Was the colour of your Venturi in camouflage? Did you test drive it with a broken leg? smile

Cheers.

Great pic of the TT Testarossa. Brilliant!

I remember the Camo LM well, looked awesome. I believe it is still in London somewhere.

Here is one of the LM's. I remember going out for a drive with this car VERY briskly down the A3 and then we headed into Wimbledon Village and subsquently went to start it and it had run out of fuel, so had to nip to a friends house and get his Transit van and tow it to the petrol station. Good times laugh

No the Camo car was a standard 400 Throphy, mine was the balck car that has just been posted. It was built up by the factory from a Throphy car but with the LM bits less the areo package as you'd not have SVA'd it. I owned the car a year had loads of fun on track and Europe and then px's it back to them for a 550M.

Great fun but not really road friendly or reliable! Didn't have door locks or ignition key... lol

Ah ok. I had chatted to the chap that collected the camo car. He went out on his test-drive with his crutches. Very entertaining smile

Car above loooks stunning.

Cheers.

I went down there as an 18 year old for a look around and sat in a Miura SV, red with gold wheels, it was £55K IIRC.....the place was small but nose to tail with exotica.
was this around 1986? Supercar Classics has a Heathmans ad with a red SV at the time.

I remember following one of their EB110s and a Venturi from a Carrera Sport day at Goodwood one year. Managed to keep up with both cars until we got to the A3 when they just vanished over the horizon biggrin

I remember as a school kid looking through their window and seeing XJ220's, EB110's, Venturi LM's and also the mad yellow drop top twin turbo Koenig Testarossa.[quote]

As a uni student in London I used to catch the bus to Wandsworth to visit Pullicino Classics and wander around the showroom. There was always a fantastic selection of supercars in stock, but I especially remember the EB110, 500 Superfast and, of course, the Koenig Testarossa:

Unfortunately, this is the only photo I can find at the moment...

Cheers,

Andy
Good grief, I remember this car on one of my visits there. I remember them starting it up to move it around the showroom... I think one of Mike Pullen’s customers ended up buying it.

Funny, I was only trying to think of the name of this place the other day.

Not sure exact year but late 90's at a guess, used to be one of the only places you could see the likes of supercars for sale, as already posted when I was there they had 2 or maybe 3 EB110, and a venturi, we went to look at 964 or 993 at a guess, probably in the 450SL (with 18" AMG alloys) happy days.

I remember when 18" alloys were seen as being monstrously big!

I remember Heathmans very well, used to pop down there when I was a teenager. There were a few other classic car dealers down Heathmans road as well. I remember the first F1 car I ever saw up close was an ex Jo Siffert car (1970-71)just parked in the yard at Heathmans.

I knew the Pullicino brothers too in the late 90s, they were good guys and I spoke to John a while back. Sorry to hear about Mark.

I remember..............We're talking about the 80's when Miami Vice was cooking on the TV. We still never managed to pull in it but boy we had fun trying.

iirc those chaps were one of the main reasons that wimbledon park road and past the tennis courts had so many speed bumps put on it. I used to live there and they'd come screaming by on a daily basis (which i loved)

I subsequently lived in the same apartment block as their mum and regularly came down to find my car blocked in by and F40 or something similarly exotic.
