Lawrence very nice photos.....how many of you are there?

I am not sure how you managed to see so much!

For more of my thoughts on CPoP 2011 www.stigthegeek.com
There's just myself, although my wife came along on Saturday to help as I had to nip back home to shoot a wedding before returning in the evening, but, unbeknown to us, her camera had been on all night and the batteries were exhausted frown. I was shooting the Pageant on behalf of Cholmondeley themselves. The image below is another of mine which was taken at last year's event and has been doing the rounds.

Anyone got more info on this one? Audi V8 Quattro in hillclimb guise? Certainly seen pictures of a similar one that was used as a hillclimb car in Norway.

Not quite. Its 199Os French "Super Tourisme" championship car - An Audi 80 with a 4 cylinder 8v turbo engine & built by ROC. There's a thread giving more detail here: http://www.clubgti.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2267...

Now owned by Jan Van Neirop (spelling, sorry?) who owns QRS near Oulton Park, I think. It sometimes races in the NW Sports & Saloons series.

Riggers, where did you lift the images from please? The reason for asking is that the majority of the images that you have used for your report are mine, a credit wouldn't go amiss please wink
Hmmmm... credit where credit is due you cheecky beggars PH!

Lawrence - great photo's. The movement has been captured really well. On your site, who is the chap in the tweed suit, hat on, with an eye patch? I was stood near him for a while and he seemed to know quite a few people?

Another PH ticket 'winner' here, I have never been more wet in my entire life, but I still loved every second of Sunday. I will definitely be going again next year; well worth the entry cost even at full price.

IS the yellow Camel sponsored single seater a Tyrrell 018? I don't remember them being in full Camel livery if it is.

Thanks, should have realised.

Anyone got any photos of the Yellow, Buzzby sponsored Group 4 Chevette? It belongs to a friend of mine & he's rebuilt it over several years. Ex Pentii Arikkala.

Nice - must have been shot on the Sunday before 2:30 p.m. (we only had the blue marquee at the chicane up on Sunday and abandoned site around 2:30 because of the weather).

Apologies for the small size of the pictures, but for some irritating reason our system won't allow us to upload anything more hi-res...I'm told our tech monkeys geniuses are working on it...

I was marshalling there friday and sunday. I was on post 1 just before the bridge on sunday. We got soaked but it was an awesome weekend yet again. The photos and videos are very good. I hope the weather is much better next year! The whole event just gets better every year!
