Does anyone know if the New Years Day meet at the Phoenix Inn near Hartley Witney is going ahead again this year? I cant find any reference to it anywhere but its a great way to start the year and blow away a few cobwebs!

I've seen it listed in a couple of car club event diaries so I'll be going.

I will probably be heading down there. I'm having a quiet new years eve so I'll get up early and have a little new year blast.

I'm thinking of going, will be taking my V8 Aston if so.

Staying with friends in Brighton for New Years Eve so it's not too far, but doubt I'll be up early!

What sort of time is it on til?

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks for the reminder, I'm thinking of going to Brooklands which is what I've done in previous years.

Yeah, Brooklands is another option.

The people I'm staying with have zero interest in cars, and I don't want to be a billy nomates so I'll go to whichever is likely to be most sociable smile

For anyone else that's having trouble finding it on Google, it's spelled Hartley Wintney.

Goaty Bill ^ parking isn't a problem - majority park on the main road/surrounding verges anyway and most of the spectating is best done from same location.
I'll be there in the Formula27 10.30 - 11.00'ish - weather permitting (latest is for light rain).
Cheers, Pewe.

11am will be really busy and you might have to park a fair bit down the road like a lot of cars do, I'm getting there for about 9am which should give me a decent place to park. smile

Depending on the weather there can easily be a few hundred cars.
