As above, I left around 3pm in nasty rain 2 years ago, but it had thinned out quite a bit by then, no doubt in part because it had started to rain around 2:00 - 2:30.

I had to leave earlier last year, probably around 11:30, and while some cars were leaving, more were arriving.
Sometimes it's hard to say who is going and who is arriving as some people seem to do a bit of cruising up and down as well.

Probably still worth turning up as late as 11-12, maybe even 1pm Others may say later?

As it's 5 mins down the road I guess it would be rude not too come down with the GP smile

Now going to be in the Civic as the MX5 appears to have transformed into a pond which is playing havoc with the bits that work on electricity. frown

Thoroughly miserable weather at the moment. I'm afraid I'm going to give it a miss.

I'm 10 minutes from Brooklands and it's been wet and windy all morning. Usually go to Phoenix but didn't go to either this year. If people have gone I bet the events finish early.

I went on to Brooklands which was equally cold, wet, windy and quiet (though busier than the Phoenix). frown

I could only manage about 4 hours today before the cold and wet got to be too much.
Nothing like the last 2 years, aside from the temperature, but some lovely cars to see, and some interesting chats with others.

Really missed not seeing any vintage cars this year (exception being the Riley speedster with no roof, my hat is off to you sir smile), but otherwise well worth the short journey.

I made it for an hour this morning (Blue Elise S2) and managed a few pictures before my camera was thoroughly soaked! Both camera and I have now dried out!
