BRUTINGTHORPE 2012
Discussion
ASDA charity day - you take you car (by prior arrangement via Steve) and give give passenger rides around a set track - it costs you a £5 donation to get in, all your petrol and depending on your car and driving oil, tyres and brakes
most getting into your car will know very little or nothing about it except the badge and colour but that doesn't matter in the least
for the driver it's a fantastic time and pleasure
finding the nearest petrol station and filling up actually seems fun
anyone able to bring an Atom or two would bring the desk and queue much relief

ast year do I remember Mark being in one of your red cars and either last or the year before his Lola T70 rep parked up
Presumably you are referring to this :-and this:-
in which case yes.

Anyways as I said above this is the best event of the year definitely one to support
that queues me to say - for those not able to make this event or those that enjoy it so much they may also like to consider Sporting Bears Dream Rides -http://www.sportingbears.org.uk/DreamRides/sbmc_ev...
which is where I know Mark and his Lola rep from and also Harsh so also a plug for his excellent event, THE Supercar Event 2012 -

Watch this space. Sorry hijacked ...
I know Bruntingthorpe well and if you would like some Nobles and a 355 let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Any noise restrictions?
Hi, as Steve's not around at the moment I'll say I don't know but I've not seen any sound testing equipment there on the dayI'd guess if your car is that noisey you're more likely to get pulled on the public roads getting there than at the circuit
the Vulcan bomber used to take off and land there and that's quite loud
for the fast cars the worry is more about having your brake fluid and brakes in good condition before going - and your tyres
serious long wide straight then serious bend last year

I second that! My 360 suffered some smoking front brakes after about 10 laps of braking from about 160 at the end of that straight! The 18 wheelers crossing your path give you little room for error as well!serious long wide straight then serious bend last year
