Will move shorty, we have to move it using the database 'back end'
I assumed as much, just letting everyone know as I'd noticed. smile

Well safety first, but I'm not sure I'd call this weather severe.

And now the event is in March,
All places still there. (that was a speedy learning curve)

So... get up at 6am to watch the Australian GP, then hop in the car and sprint to Silverstone... best way to end a weekend wink

That was my 1st thought. Looks like Red Bull will be the choice in a few different ways that Sunday.

A pity, but a good call on Silverstone's part I feel.

Bodes well for my slot on the Reserve list coming down though biggrin

But thanks for the Michael Fish reference, I shall now be spending the days humming "John Kettley is a weatherman" to myself until I go insane. smile

Bit of a Ghey decision tongue out........ but so be it smile

However, did the Run threads have to be closed ? We may, dependant on various factors, opt for an alternative for the group, but that'll be tricky to organise on a closed thread frown

Crap ! I deleted myself from the list as I couldn't make it, now it’s been moved I could make it but don’t have a place.
I believe the appropriate metaphor involves a river of excrement and a Native American water vessel without any means of propulsion.

If running = managing, then delegate :-)

If running = taking part, use the car then over in 10 mins

I never thought I'd see these words written on PH.

"both parties feel it is unwise to expect event staff and PHers to travel on icy roads in minus temperatures and it would be safer to move the event"
+1

Guess it is the sensible decision, although so far there has been no stopping my WRX with its winter tyres on!

Any recommendations for things to do in the same area as I had booked a hotel to make a weekend out of it! Going Warwick Castle on the Saturday.
