More like textbook 'all the gear - no idea' I've only ever raced at Buckmore and sandown park anyway. Even then total times in karts probably added up to about 15! Eta: what time is everyone arriving? I'm aiming for around 10 if it's starting at 11. Also G, what is the format? Qualify/practise then race? Or is it heats etc

Everyone needs to be there by 10.45 latest. S3_Graham said: Also G, what is the format? Qualify/practise then race? Or is it heats etc 20 mins practice. Fastest laps decides Race 1 grid. Race 1 - everyone scores; 1st - 15 points, 2nd - 14 points ... 15th - 1 point. Grid for Race 2 is the reverse finishing order for Race 1. Race 2 points as Race 1. Person with most points after two races wins

Yep got the mail, printed it out and keeping it safe. I'll aim for around 10 then.
Good news on the fact there are 2 full races, if it's heats and stuff you don't get to race everyone.
Following from the thread, I'll bring a bottle of anti-fog for visors. If it rains I always suffer badly!

Some fairly obvious 'heightist' jokes looming.
Glad it went well.

The trophy looked a lot bigger in the original photos. Or did you have a special Travel Swiss sized one on standby in case he won so that he wasn't dwarfed by the prize.

Great fun, superb day out and I'm now completely broken.
I think we've conclusively proved that everyone needs an Alipina

Sorry to hear olly. Do any of the aftermarket guys have a better version than you have already replaced? Nice day for a blat up the A5 in the gtj back to derby. Saw two countash (caught myself saying 'wow), an e-type and a few caterhams on the way back. Anyone know of an event? Silverstone?
