Barge/Rant Thread Social Stuff
Discussion
Having spent the Easter holidays with your families and loved ones, you will all no doubt be in great need of alcohol.
So please be invited to an evening of beer and jollity in London's finest neighbourhood.
Yes, it's time to leave the keyboard again and enjoy the sights of London's Mayfair for The Thread Night Out. A stone's throw from Bond Strasse and Berkeley Platz, we'd very much like to make your acquaintance at the Coach & Horses in Hill Street from 5.30pm on Thursday 19th April. (Probably equidistant from Green Park and Bond Street tube)
Please don't feel that being a noisy contributor is in any way a pre-requisite to attending; even if you just quietly follow the triumvirate of Barge-threads you'll be made very welcome in 'real life'.
Stick your name down so we know who to look out for (and please keep the tag below with the names list when you quote so it doesn't get confused with the karting one):

I'll have a dig around the web for local hostelries, but if you can recommend anywhere close by...
Saracens Head in Little Brington. The food is very very good, and there is a nice selection of ales. Plenty of parking, though there is a bit of an incline/bump on entry so if your car is low take it easy. It's posh food rather than pub food, which isn't always what you want. It's very very popular so if you do want food it might be an idea to ring them and book.An alternative is The Turnpike at the Premier Inn just off M1 junction 16. Some may scoff at it being a Beefeater, but I've never had a bad meal there, it's easy to get to, loads of parking and there'll be something for everyone on the menu (you can get anything from the restaurant menu served in the bar too).
