The food is very very good, and there is a nice selection of ales. Plenty of parking, though there is a bit of an incline/bump on entry so if your car is low take it easy. It's posh food rather than pub food, which isn't always what you want. It's very very popular so if you do want food it might be an idea to ring them and book. An alternative is The Turnpike at the Premier Inn just off M1 junction 16. Some may scoff at it being a Beefeater, but I've never had a bad meal there, it's easy to get to, loads of parking and there'll be something for everyone on the menu (you can get anything from the restaurant menu served in the bar too).

Deepest apologies. It turns out the "quick drink after work" event is actually an organised wine-tasting. If I can still stand at the end, I'll try to remember to come to Mayfair on my way home... but the chances aren't strong.

Does anyone attending the drinkies tmw live either near Bath or in the Cotswolds or vague vicinity of either? Random, I know, but want to get cash to our 8-pot ringmaster. I'm in Bath today, staying in the 'Wolds ce soire.

TY I don't, but you can BACS it to me and I'll deliver it in person tomorrow. Unless you need a receipt, of course

I will be along a bit late but if anyone is still there it will be good to put faces to names. An opportunity for me to have a sniff around a Ferrari GTO over a glass of wine for an hour or two tomorrow evening is too good to resist!
