Sorry to hear olly.
Do any of the aftermarket guys have a better version than you have already replaced?
Nice day for a blat up the A5 in the gtj back to derby. Saw two countash (caught myself saying 'wow), an e-type and a few caterhams on the way back. Anyone know of an event? Silverstone?
Your little car is a whole lot of wow too. A great ownership proposition. Very nice to have it (and you!) along to break up the sea of blue and white roundels and Porcine flags.

Whats the dress code at this place?

If one were to rock up in shorts, t-shirt and flip flops... other than being hated by the unfortunate people in suits on this warm day, will one get in to the liquid refreshment?
Indeed. Mayfair's a cosmopolitan area, dontchaknow?

What's the furthest north you city types can venture on a week day? Olly and I are just a bit too far out for mid-week drinkies....
Berkeley Square? winkhehe

Even then I get a nosebleed being on the wrong side of the river ....
Oh come on you fanny; we could easily make it Oxford St.
Marylebone High St at a push!

In all seriousness, geographical accessibility nags me constantly; was part of the reason for choosing the karting location, for example. I guess the biggest problem is transport; it's a drinky social rather than car meet because we all convene sans voitures.

Are weekend 'things' more or less desirable, Ferris?

Right, as I now have somewhere to sleep in the middle of London (Or at least I've been told I have) can someone pick a pub where I can meet people from the internet? The only other people I know in London are a friend who is leaving the weekend before and relatives that I don't really like.
Chris - does it definitely have to be the 20th? whistle
