A couple of us are meeting at 10am at a local cafe which is just two minutes from the circuit smile
I was thinking about joining you, depending on how late a night I have on Sat, and whether there is a convoy / lift share from town. I think JeremyC is quite local to me, and since a good chunk is M1, it might be nice to have someone to talk to. However, since the missus isn't coming, it might be nice to go for a thrash on the way home...

Decisions decisions...

The right hander in turn 1? The left is flat. Fairly sure the right isn't
Not 100% flat, no, but I certianly wasn't touching the brake.
  • Takes Note*
I forget what I was doing there. I was quick going into the last corner up to the top hairpin, through the slower section Loon was just walking away from me in quali

He will do, light wieght and acceleration. However, given our weight advantage, it is easier for us to nerf him off the track. This was my plan last time. Never got close enough unfortunately.
And even after I offered EVERY competitor the opportunity to do so by reversing the grid for Race 2!

Right then chaps,

I have advised my cousin that the Loon family honour rests on his shoulders.

No pressure.

Speak for yourself tubby, I'm still lithe and racey. Or not.

I've always thought I was quite slim and, when I was 23, I was. When I sat in an F1 car though I needed a seat to fit. Alonso's and Fisi's were too small by miles. I had to use Tiago "Fatboy" Montero's seat, which was still too small but seens as I was only sitting on it on a rig it didn't matter so much. I'm 4 inches bigger in the waist now days too. Am fat frown

I got that wrong last time when laughing too hard at Rob crashing. I went off as i forgot to brake and flat out there, there isnt much run off!!! I did a bit of a jump, spun and then just carried out without anybody noticing.
You brake for that corner?
nope, just a lift (or slide) on the RH bit, was catching most people up the top. I just went barreling round foot welded down and completely off line. Almost made it but once one wheel touches the grass your off.

G - Just text said mate. His answer was Road Runner. Sounds massively homo tbh, could be boring and put S3_Matt? Or should we make something funny up??

Why, are you going to be sitting on them to see over the steering wheel?

There's a section where you aren't going flat out and need to lift/brake

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll have to make my own way up there.

I'll probably take the M40 route just to be able to have a hoon along the A361. drivingbiggrin

I'll put the back seats down, and spread a tarp out before I leave, and gather all the bits up...

Hate. is an under used word. If i put the roof down i can just catch them as they fall off.

BTW Olly, have you removed your rear bumper yet? I need to re-fit mine as its wonky, big job?
