Just Back from Wilton and have to say excellent venuue, stunning cars but just one fly in the ointment for me and thats that I'm wondering why I bought VIP tickets and from what I experienced got bugger all extra for the my money.
For instance I was guided into the public car park and when I asked is this the VIP area I was told no and sent about 50 yards further away from the entrance than where I was!. Thats having had to drive my car over grass that up past sill height and clumpy, to top it all the parking lady guides the next car in that close the chap couldn't open his doors. Hardly a VIP start.
Ok so I go into the show which over to the VIP area all very nice, nicely set up so this is looking good. However lunchtime comes into the VIP area I go again join the queue, Food reasonably priced very nice but nowhere to sit, so out on the grass myself wife and friends go and scramble around as best we can. so again VIP advantage gone.
I might be being a bit picky but I would have been better off parking in the ph car park joining the queues with everyone else and staying out on the lawns, next year I'll know better.

Great day, It was my first time there but will definitely be back! Weather was great too!
Here's a link to a selection of my photos, mostly unedited because I'm too lazy! http://www.flickr.com/photos/ash_gt/sets/721576309...

Brilliant day. Thanks, Jay and everyone else who had a hand in organising and marshalling it.
As above, little real advantage to paying extra for premium tickets. The inside of the house was good but not worth an extra £18 each. The exit road central grass hump was brushing the underside of my car most of the way out. Much worse and I could imagine something with less clearance becoming expensively wedged there.
But, most importantly, we both had a really good day and the sun shone -despite all the forecasts.
Unprocessed piccies here but I expect they're much the same as everyone else's http://www.flickr.com/photos/driverrob/sets/721576... (5-9 are for stitching for a panorama).
