Please, please, please can we have some of the Sunday Services a bit further north?

Thanks in advance!
This isn't too far from Watford. That is the North.

I'm currently on the reserves list...

Is there any scope for reserves to turn up on the day? As I know there are bound to be a few people on the list who don't take themselves off but also don't turn up. Only live a few miles up the road so would be willing to take the risk.

Usual rules apply really.

We might let others in, but not before 11.30ish. We can't/ won't let any in who aren't on the list until we have a good idea of who isn't coming or some cars have started to leave, but 11.30 we should have a good idea, but with the 'Chorus' taking place at 12.00 more may stay around than usual.

Last time I attended a SS at Nissan/Renault, I came across my old Renault GTA which I hadn't seen in almost 20 years.

Hopefully, the Mark one Escort that I learnt to drive in will show up this time.

All,

Have sent the email out to all on the calendar list but I've had a few bounce backs, if you registered on PistonHeads a while ago it would be a good idea to check we have your current email address linked to your profile smile

Anyway, email reproduced here:

Hello all

As the Sunday Service approaches, it’s time for the usual email reminding you how we run these events.

In no particular order……

  • Gates open at 09.00 and we’ll ask you to (politely) leave by 13.00.

  • On the gate we’ll be checking your PistonHeads username against the calendar list – only those numbered between 1-500 are guaranteed a space

  • If you are no longer attending this meet, please take your name off the calendar to allow a reserve list member to move into the space

  • If you are on the reserve list we will not allow entry on the gate. Please check your position before you leave home

  • The Chorus of Noise will take place at 12.00 and cars will be chosen on the gate by the PH team until the underground space is full

  • Please note the ‘Chorus’ start time is 12.00. If you need to leave before this time please don’t accept the offer of an underground space J

  • Drive sensibly in and around the venue, we are guests of our hosts and the better behaved we are the more chance we have of being invited back

That’s about it really, all we need to do now is hope for some respite from all the rain we have had recently. If it does rain, there is plenty of space within the Nissan restaurant and also in the underground car park too.

If any details change this week I will let you know via email and on the event thread too.

Address once again:

Rivers Office Park
Denham Way
Maple Cross
Rickmansworth
Hertfordshire
WD3 9YS

I’ll see you on the gat Sunday morning and thanks for helping to make these events so successful!

Cheers

Paul
