I'm going this year. My brother went last year and had a brilliant time, he has a video of the Brutus that was on the last series of TopGear smoking it's rears up on the circuit from only a few feet away. Can't wait to go.

Only missed 4 events since then but thinking of not going this year as its just too busy (although Ive won a pair of tickets for the rolling motorshow on the Thursday LOL) I went to the CPoP with the Armed Forces rally team and loved it.

I've been fortunate to go to every FoS since 1994 and it's changed beyond recognition but still love it. Equally the CPoP is growing in ambition since its first iteration. I'm cutting my losses and attending both events as usual. Not sure about Moving Motorshow, try not to crash a Honda!

Just booked our tickets for the Saturday. I hope like others that we have the same parking as last year which was really good, if a little poorly signposted which is probably why there weren't that many of us in it! Looking forward to it. Andy

So do you use the code upon buying tickets at the gate, as it doesn't seem to work online?

I just tried the PH3DT code with a 3 day ticket and it gave the discount at the online checkout.

To everyone going, once you have passed the display cars, watched cars and bikes on track, tank battles, helicopter and stunt planes in the air and marvelled at the power boats, pop along past the military area to Lodge Corner where Sporting Bears Dream Rides will again be offering you the chance to donate to Childrens Charity and we will take you out for a 20minute Dream Ride along the Cheshire Roads. Previous years we have always had a great selection from our members who volunteer their time and petrol so EVERY PENNY OF YOUR DONATION go to the charity, so make their day worth while, from a Lotus to a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin to a X-Bow, see the cars, book the cars, enjoy the cars. please note we do not have a Bugatti Veyron offering Dream Rides .......... unless someone wants to email me

Would be good to catch up again if so! Well what a nice surprise yesterday! We'll be there Sunday with the RAOC again. Fabulous event even if the weather's not always on our side oop 'ere. Not 100% but I think the tickets are a little bit more expensive if purchased on the day. There's so much to see and do, it's a must for any petrolhead! See you there
