It is indeed a 328 sport.

You're my new best friend for saying that. I do love her dearly. (A few PHers have been previous owners, too.) Paintwork is a bit sketchy on the front, and she's starting to rust a little, which needs looking at, but I think she's a doozy! cloud9

I'm ignoring Bob and his Monaro now... lurked round it for ages but he never appeared frown

Daggers - fantastic effort organising that! Brilliant turn out! Shame about the ...erm, well... the slightly less than auspicious behaviour demonstrated by a few. Had to listen to OH all the way back as he went into Victor Meldrew mode about "that's how car meets get a bad name"... hehe
Sorry Karyn, went for a sit down in the clubhouse and a chat, but I guess it was you near the end of the meet and if so it was very nice to meet you, see you at the next meet :-)

Nope, wasn't me... definitely didn't meet you. 'Tis why I'm sulking... my OH got annoyed with me lurking so much by one car! laugh

I know I arrived late but can't see one photo of mine or my friends car frown
Please try and get another one sorted went to a traditional boy racer style meet over near cannock maccies afterwards and whilst well attended (100+ cars) left after 5 mins cant deal with that anymore full of corsas and an evo and a punto nearly collided after 1 minute of being there. It was nice to see some normal people i.e. no chavs and cars over than corsa's and would be nice to get something sorted in the midlands as all the sunday services are miles away from here frown
What's with all the abuse towards corsa's. Not everyone that owns a Corsa is a Chav. I hope I would be welcome at any meet. I felt un welcome as I drove up the first line in the car park as the 'chavs' stood there unwilling to move.

Apart from that a good mix of cars and good location well done.

I also noticed the local rude boys. Does anyone know how they found out about this event, and the police for that matter?

I think that there was some cross-forum posting, and then some rather prompt social-networking on the evening itself. smile

I own a clio sport so my car is chavvy too
My post meant that it makes a change seeing cars like a TVR or a Ferrari at a meet instead of seeing endless corsas, clios, saxos etc... mostly which have been horribly modified.
Forgot to say when I turned up saw a couple of lads in a golf buggy they hadn't stole it or something had they?

The lads on the golf buggies were people that helped sort out the event tongue out I was one of the lads on the golf buggy at the entrance and we were just there incase anybody had any questions or anything and to control traffic a little ... Couldn't find a fluorescent jacket though frown

I suspect it's the first time a golf buggy has beaten a 599 off the line too! biggrin

When I went and spoke to the police they said that they found out about it on PH! They didn't really have an issue - they were just checking up on it apparently.
