First time potential FOS visitor here with the option to go either fri or sun. Which day would experienced PH members choose and briefly why ?
Thanks in advance
Depends what you want from the day, Sun. will be more competitive, & famous drivers there on the climb but busier (personally I have found it to crowded for my liking). Thanks in advance
Fri. mainly practice runs up the hill but less people so able to move around & see more.
If you don't mind the crowds next year I'd say try Fri. & Sat. or all weekend as 1 day you is not long enough to see all you want anyway.
I recommend a good pair of walking shoes as their is miles of stuff. try to find time to get the free tractor trailer ride to the top of the hill that's where rally cars are paddocked walk down so you can stop in the woods to see them in action.
I went last year for the first time with my 10 yr old son. We went on the Sunday and to be honest, it was so busy there was no way we could get a decent view of the track so that was dissapointing. I'm giving it a miss this year but if I go again I would do it over two days; day 1 - walk around everywhere day 2 - grandstand (roving ticket) in order to see the track action. Trouble is it's flipping expensive!

Same here, far too busy. I'm glad it's successful but it's a double edged sword and we haven't been for a couple of years nowEdited by Apache on Wednesday 27th June 11:50
Been to FOS sunday last year and saturday the year before, I preferred the Saturday as Sunday was geared more for the family day out (I do not have a problem with that) but as I am billy no mates the Saturday felt a bit more relaxed and the drivers were more keen to talk and sign tickets etc.
This year the wife has killed it for me and volunteered me for the school fete etc etc
boo hoo!!
Praying for a dry weekend for those who do make it there, cant wait for the photos on PH over the weekend

Hi,
I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong bit of the forum - I'm a complete newbie to this and not quite sure what the protocol is! So apologies in advance if I'm treading on anyone's toes, it's not intentional...
This is for London collection only, but I have two adult entry tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed for this Saturday (the 30th June). However, I can’t go as I will be in France for work.
Does anyone want to take the tickets off my hands?
I will be in London for work tomorrow (I fly out to France early Fri morning), so could meet whoever it might be in person to give them the tickets.
They’re complimentary tickets (so they have “complimentary” written on them), but they’re not linked to my name in any way, so the person who takes them off my hands has full ownership of them.
They retail for £55 each, but I’m open to cash offers!
Please email me on evemiddleton83@gmail.com if you have any questions.
