I imagine I'll be going Blackwall Tunnel / M11 / M25 / M1. Pretty boring journey really but can't think of an interesting way to get to Luton from SE London
M11, A414 (J7 Harlow) towards Ware (Ware?), A10, A602 (Stevanage, A1 to Hitchin A602), either take the A505 to Luton or bare off onto B665 Hexton Road to Barton Le Clay if you've got time. Not brilliant roads but better than boring motorways.
Or A1 J4, (A414/A6192 towards WGC, B653 Brocket Rd all the way to sunny Luton!)

Better, but takes my journey time from 1'20 to 2 hours! Not brilliant roads but better than boring motorways.
