Buckmore Park is only around the corner. Weekend meet + hoon + kart race + piss up in a brewery? We could probably get through most of the Big Book of Racing Drivers' Excuses at a post-race piss up.
I did mention to Umair last night of maybe replacing the meets with a Karting night.. There is a karting centre in Crawley I believe, not sure if its arrive and drive though..I'm sure there would be a few takers !!
I think that's an indoor circuit. The outdoor circuits are much more PH and better suited to Fubes powerfully built company director types. Buckmore are also quite a slick outfit. If Chatham is too far east for some then I'm sure we could support two meets. They seem to be growing month on month.

I think we're going to Crawley
Can book, can arrive and drive. Best prices would be book, obviously.

Is the boat big enough for us all, we would somewhere to sleep the Beer off, would we get bacon sandwiches in the morning?
Jeez! It's only (!) 6 berth and I'm vegetarian. So you are a bit stuffed on both counts!!But it is beginning to sound like a plan for next year? Buckmore Park isn't that far and there's that brewery. Nelsons it's called. Google it.
So, perhaps a PH show/event plus karting?
Better than last weekend a Sea Cadets silver band competition -ting ting a ting etc.
If you need to make some new body panels there is a 30 ft high slip roll or a 15ft high brake press. And a smithy.
Maybe you could sleep the beer off on the HMS Ocelot?

An excellent meet - we left after the F40 took off!
What an excellent eclectic collection of motorcars and nice bunch of folks.

I have not been in a kart for years and I am hardly my old race weight.
I've been karting twice and was completely crap each time! Shame really, enjoyed it loads but couldn't seem to get the hang of it...I typed a couple of lines, deleted them, typed a few more deleted them, trying to say how to dive a kart.
At the end of the day its about having fun. If you can jump in a kart do a few laps and enjoy it thats all that matters.
