Indeed, none have been handed out this year sadly.
As for the slow sticker order that's a poor show. Let me know if you don't get them early this week and I'll call them to see what's what.
Cheers Garlick, I'm sure they'll arrive but will follow up with them if they don't. As for the slow sticker order that's a poor show. Let me know if you don't get them early this week and I'll call them to see what's what.
Just to let you know, they stickers turned up today. Not a lot to 'em for the price, but at least they came recorded delivery! I now have to work out which colour goes on what car!
£2400?!
Those of you who didn't contribute should feel bloody ashamed! And for those that have said 'I didn't have much money on me...', come on, no one goes to an event like that without a bean on them. Everyone on the list knew that contributions would be welcomed so everyone should have come prepared. No excuse.
I feel angry and saddened by the number of spongers that were obviously there

No real excuse now that the website for donations is known. I didn't see the guys doing collections whilst I was wandering around and I arrived too late to catch them, so I e-mailed the charity this morning and added my donation via the site. Those of you who didn't contribute should feel bloody ashamed! Good for you mate. Lets hope those that didn't on the day will also follow your lead Huge thanks to PH for organising this, i turned up early in time for the first race taking my 12 yr old Nephew in tow, good organisation by both PH and Silverstone staff, we had a great day out. The F1 Clienti and XX programmes were just immense, big shouty noises that made your internal organs vibrate. gutted to see the F40 retire during the Open race, that thing way spitting huge flames out the back coming into Maggotts/Beckets complex. Slightly miffed that most of the grandstands were closed around the 'top' end of the circuit. For those that didn't make the 700, you missed a great day out, was easily worth the full price entry.

You should have said - you could have tried your kids out for size in the Cerb ! Bought the Cerb when the eldest two were 4 and 2. The 2 year old had a Recaro seat, forgotten the name of it but I can find out. It fitted very well in the car. The eldest sat on the base seat but with a seat belt adjuster to pull the diagonal belt down to across his shoulder. Now they are 11, 10 and 5 they all still fit. Eldest has to go in the front as he is tall, the youngest has the seat belt adjuster and dad has to go in the Mondeo
I should have said indeed but you seemed rather busy! I thought they had to be in certain sized seats until a certain age/height/weight but must admit I haven't done any research really. It is possibly a bit academic because #3 is on its way so the idea of a sports car we can all use is not so compelling, although I guess you have the same situation! More likely to get used than the Elise though I guess. hornetrider said:

It looks like the total was £2,400, so a big thanks to all who dug deep, it really is much appreciated.
The online donations page, for those who've asked is - http://mydonate.bt.com/charities/missionmotorsport

Thanks Rich, will wing a bit to you later. I couldn't find a clicky button on your website - maybe an idea "Donate Here" or similar? The online donations page, for those who've asked is - http://mydonate.bt.com/charities/missionmotorsport

Who was the other guy that turned up in an estoril blue f20 and gave me a flash?
That was my brother in laws, he hadn't seen another estoril f20 on the road yet so loved how it looked when coming in. He is not registered on the forums but does browse from time to time.
The only other estoril f20 i'd seen before Sunday was my brothers f20 125d m-sport, and ironically i also saw one just up the road from my house on Sunday!! They're multiplying!!
What spec was your brother in laws? I noticed he has xenons

Give it a rest with this attitude will you. I gave them some, knowing that there would be collections for a very worthwhile cause. Others may have been in a different position, so don't sit here telling people they should be ashamed of themselves. We all do what we can. My workplace is bad enough with consistent charity collections, yet I always try and do the best I can. Those of you who didn't contribute should feel bloody ashamed! Some people may think differently about it, or have other reasons, and while even a pound or two counts, I don't see it fair to make people feel guilty for not providing a blank cheque at the door. If you gave generously then that's great. Those who did will feel good about contributing.
