Borrowed my Dad's A6, came back to it in Tesco, woman loading the nex car had her keys, phone and purse on 'my' boot. Pressed the middle button on the key, flipped the boot up and sent her stuff flying. "Ooh god, I'm so sorry, wrong button!!" got in and left.

I see a gap in the market for auto protection here...
A few years back, a mate bought a car that ws previously owned by a woman that clearly did that to her own car - you should have seen the scratched on the boot and above the driver door! What a mess.

I know that woman probably would have pulled a face, but I reckon I've had lobbed them in the bush or something. Silly bint.

Even more fun to jump in and drive away with them on there. Maybe a sharp turn on exiting the car park to scatter them.

I had words with her. Just got the confused blank look back.

Also there was a women leaning on the yellow murci I was parked next too. Fella taking her picture. Another blank look off both!!

Boils my piss.
That's the one, thank you!

Thing is, if anyone ever asks I'm more than happy to take them for a spin.

Should be flattered I suppose,
Agreed, but it is just the fact that they SHOULD ask.

throughly enjoyed my day

Really nice to see the 599XX series again after id previously seen them pounding round the ring a few years ago

One thing I did notice and that really annoyed me was people I presume to be members of the 'Joe Public" having an insistence on touching Very expensive Cars most of which were worth Upwards of £500K. Whilst admiring the Black Enzo i must have counted at least 5 people having a prod and a poke on the bodywork, numerous people unaware that they were getting very close with metal vips to the paintwork and one woman who decided to strike a pose whilst sitting on the rear Quarter!!

Was a staggered at how inconsiderate people can be around other peoples pride and joys!
Saw some woman posing for a photo with the rear end of the yellow lambo in the PH car park. Stood right against it..

People don't realise that things like rivets on jeans etc can scratch paintwork easily!

No respect.

Edit: Ahh I see someone else saw her too. I was in the mx5 next to the Renault 5 turbo smile

I think what it boils down to is that the public see an un-roped off car as an invitation to get hands on. They're so used to freely sitting in cars at places like MPH show, even car showrooms, that they don't realise or appreciate that these cars are privately owned, and often near-unique examples.

There was a DBS that gave it some beans coming over the bridge as they were leaving... whoever that was, thank you, it sounded truly awesome thumbup
Not the Silver V8 Vantage S as we were talking to the Start/Finish straight..? st the bed that was fantastic.
That exact one - sounds like i was startled by the ravaging noise and mistook it's exact model biggrin
Paul sniffed the air and told me it was a Cerbera, I turned around and pointed at the Aston with people standing behind it whooping. hehe
This is the one! cloud9

Thanks guys - glad you appreciated the noise! We love it & it's great to get positive reactions to it.

The S has had the Bamford Rose treatment & has been taken from 430 (factory claimed but dyno'ed at 422) up to 456bhp. If you click on my profile & forums you will find other details of what's been done & find a couple of video links so you can hear the sound again (the latest one being a brief in-car video taken on the return journey from Silverstone) smile

Just like to add our thanks to Garlick, Stuart & co for organising a great event. Our first SS but it won't be our last wink

PS If it looks familiar to any EVO readers it's because we went on a photo shoot with them in Feb when there was a group test feature so we have done the EVO Triangle with them & it appeared in the March issue (when it was still standard)

Quick thinking!

People doing things like this is why I only go to Tesco weekdays 8:30 / 9pm and STILL park at the very far end of the car park!

I was at Goodwood this weekend so thanks for posting some great pictures guys, it's great to see the 599XX EVO.

I've been involved with the preparation of the new hand made 599XXEVO models that are made for Ferrari and collectors

It's great to see some of the great schemes 'in action'.

My favourite is the F1 2007 red.

hehe Nope. Know that little strech reasonably well and think there's onle a couple of GATSO's up there.

I must say, the turn of speed your C63 has is very impressive. 4 up too, right? Very impessive.

Don't do what? I would expect less respect for a nice car in a car park in Tescos (where both stories originate from) than in Sainsburys or Waitrose.

I was referring to your need for stating that other brands are available.

I see your logic in the apparent class difference in supermarkets, but I wouldn't agree with differing respect. My local Waitrose has some of the worst parking I've seen when out shopping. It does anger me seeing things like this when at public meets though and really don't understand what goes through some people's minds though, right before they decide to sprawl across someone else's expensive car, as if for that brief moment it belongs to them.

If that was the case though, I'd argue that would be the last thing they would do if it was actually theirs.

I'll mention the guy who visits the local Sainsbury's off his tits on something that drives his Vectra over the kerbs and across several spaces so he doesn't have to navigate the One-Way System.

Our Waitrose has the best system ever, interlocking diagonal spaces. However, they were there long before Waitrose, which was a Somerfield and the Car Park is actually run by Waverley Borough Council.

Potato/Potato, it's a Car Park.

Whatever you do, don't park in the parent and child spaces.....the fact that they are wider just gives the child/door/trolley more room to get up to speed before hitting your car.

Child-bearing is a condition that turns perfectly polite, considerate, respectful females into single-minded, inconsiderate, thoughtless harridans. Care about your car? Not blinking likely.

Don't you believe it, my Passat got keyed in my local Sainsbury's car park. It's a show car as well as my daily, I suspect it was some jealous little git, I really can't understand why someone would want to damage someone else's car?
