Thanks.. This was the first time getting up close to a 599XX Evo.. when they started them in the pit garage it was crazy !! i've never heard anything like it. amazing
Yeah I'll bet! I love how Grigio Silverstone (I assume that's what it is although it's no doubt actually a bespoke colour being a 599XX) is normally a quite sober colour, but just looks so menacing on a 599XX.

very surprised that no f50s turned out and hardly any classic models either.
Classics were probably at Goodwood

I belive the Daytona Spider is the Joe Macari car, He was driving around in London in it a few weeks back, sounded superb! I also saw a couple of his employees walking the pits, so makes sense smile

3 photos for now:

And a very badly damaged 458, anyone know where or how it got in this state?

The driver was Giorgio Raffaeli and he has been put into an induced coma by the hospital with non-life threataning injuries.

Really good to hear it's not life threatening. I hope he makes a great and speedy recovery. Those guys put on a great show for us public in the stands and we get to make our way home with a smile on our face after watching the action and when something like this happens it makes you think.

Was Mier there aswell, or did you just drive his car across? I saw you talking to a blonde guy about your age early on around 8.00am. Was that him? That was why I did not want to disturb your discussion. smile

I am not a fan of MINI but his was quite nice, and looked at home in that photo I took. I would maybe change the rear-view mirror, but that is personal tatse. thumbup

Nasty scrape on the splitter there, kerb? It does look brilliant though, someday I'll own one.

He was there, but I had the key. Mier is blondey I guess, looks like he plays rugby with a squashed nose, think he had a blue hoody on.

Came with all the mirror covers on, he thought about removing the interior mirror, but it would basically require a whole new one, but it's grown on him I think, he added the dust caps and rear mud flaps...

Glad you like it smile. It was considerate of the sun to show itself at that moment and the sky to stay nice and moody biggrin
