Indoors I saw some people touching the few roped-off display cars, such as rapping on the bodywork of one of the DTM cars; and what I believe was the owner of one particularly expensive MR2 in the car park CLIMBING OVER the rope and opening the door of another DTM car! I think that's the height of rudeness especially considering so many of the cars were unlocked and signposted as welcome for viewing or sitting in - only a handful were roped off and even then the ropes were very generous allowing you to get right up close to the car.
Perhaps a little better conduct next time, PHers... I know it's only a select few people letting down the rest but you'd expect respect considering we are all petrolheads here.
Fair enough on the first paragraph, but as MBW was open to the public on the same day as the PHSS (full public parking areas shown it was a busy day for them) means that not everyone in the building was a PHer. In fact the majority probably weren't.Perhaps a little better conduct next time, PHers... I know it's only a select few people letting down the rest but you'd expect respect considering we are all petrolheads here.
Mercedes-Benz themselves felt the event went well, so we'll return in 2013 as usual

I was, however, a little disappointed by the conduct of some PHers at this Service.
It was disappointing to see many drivers speeding up and down the long approach road, along the back road (after the PH team asked to hear some revs, next to the AMG circuit), and sometimes even after the 180 degree turn back toward the parking spaces... not only were there people around in that area but we were also specifically asked to keep speed down.

...I bet this was the normal PH hooligans!! ....disgraceful!!! ....bj, jamie, louis, you should know better!!!It was disappointing to see many drivers speeding up and down the long approach road, along the back road (after the PH team asked to hear some revs, next to the AMG circuit), and sometimes even after the 180 degree turn back toward the parking spaces... not only were there people around in that area but we were also specifically asked to keep speed down.

Good job the Orange & Yellow road blocks weren't attending
Outrageous behaviour by the select few, I reckon I know who they are. Usually see them doing this, something I would NEVER do. Too much money I think, how dare they rev there engines and make a noise. I remember one of them flicking a beer bottle top over my car once, I tried to keep myself calm but found myself p#551ng on the back of his legs half way through a drinking comp. something also that I would never do.
It's as bad as the tool that exited Wilton house super car day sideways in the yellow Lamborghini and the fat bloke in the blue Ferrari trying to keep up behind him.
Bloody outrageous, all that noise and smoke from tyres, especially at a car meet.
Anyway
Btap in a week.
I wonder if I can upset the hotel staff again

That reminds me. Does anyone have anymore pictures of the two Lotus Sports Elise parked next to one another. The Black one with Yellow stripes looked great.
Steve
You mean this one? I thought it was an Exige due to the roof intake.Steve
Is a couple of pages in on this link, not sure if the second one is there

Anyone get a picture of my yellow Elise next to the Porsche Cayenne, that was parked next to it. I just like the comedy value of how small it looked.

Great car you folks have. Whats the difference in the BGT spec? Is that on GT4 spec? Both cars looked awesome.
Still plenty of room for improvement
Pinkies is a later model, hence the front and rear end styling differences, but also runs a custom 2bular exhaust, trd air box/filter, and gloss black / silver 240r wheels

I'm fed up of turning up to these things in a 1.6 Focus, it's a good B road car but pathetically slow
Great little cars. Never drove one, but I drove the similar Renault 9 Turbo and it was a hoot! Felt like a rocketship at the time.I'm fed up of turning up to these things in a 1.6 Focus, it's a good B road car but pathetically slow
