What is "GBC" please? I did feel slightly put-out to have driven so far to be asked to park a reasonably presentable AMG around the back with the grass-mowers.

Talking of which, do we know if the breakfast will be served from a van, or the usual GBC location in the pits?

It's a Pistonheads Event - doesn't matter if you turn up in an MP4-12C or a Clio Dynamique - everyone is treated the same.

Ergo, some will get to park on the grid, and when that's full, everyone else in the paddocks.

What's the grid capacity before we're asked to park in the field?

I doubt that the field will be in use. Track, sheds, and then the tarmac/gravel carparks, surely?

Lots. I don't know a precise number.

They're not fields... behind the pits at Goodwood are the Paddocks:

Garlick, I'm on the list so I'm happy but if I get others to convoy down who aren't on the list, do you reckon they'll open the carpark on the right for others to park in anyway?

Here's a vague idea of parking from what I've seen. Feel free to correct me.

4 hour drive for me so for this one I'm out frown

One or two up North please next year biggrin I'd even be happy to come and help out. hehe
Google maps is quoting 4 1/2 hours for me.

Need to get there early to be on the track.

Last years Goodwood SS

For reference this is the "worst" condition parking surface I remember seeing.

Finally, be careful out there guys. I remember several of us commenting on some rather lairy moments in the slush on the way there last year.

I promised confusedto not show my face at a SS again after a farce trying to remove

myself from the MBW SS list, unsuccesfullyrolleyes

That was due to "Cosworth FUBAR depression".

On December 1st i shall be collecting a new [old] car.

I shall arrive like thispaperbag

and looking at the 500+ and growing list,i doubt anyone else will be bringing another of

what i will bring

I think it's pure luck what gets placed where. All you need is a car.. :P
