All the way from London to Goodwood with the roof down, brilliant weather for it! Gorgeous cars on display too, loved the orange Sagaris that was the loudest car I've ever heard idle and the E type. My first Sunday Service and definitely not my last! smile

Had a nice - if careful, what with sun glare and damp roads - run down, and enjoyed the gathering.
The marshalling was a bit strange, though; when we arrived ~10am, everyone was being shoved straight in the car park to the right of the entrance, even though there was quite a bit of space on the grid and the paddocks were only 2/3 full if that.

Good day out. Anyone get a picture of my white Cayman S with the dark blue wheels and side stripe? saw a few being taken.

I know I shouldn't be overly surprised but we didn't manage to get down there til about 11.30 (trying to get 2 children out of the house) and found only about 15 cars left in the place. There were only 2 left parked on the track and the sheds were mostly empty. I'm pretty sure I even saw Garlick disappearing at about 11.45

For an event that is supposed to go on til 13.00 I was disappointed that not more people stayed for longer. I have come later in the morning to other Sunday Service events and there has always been many many more cars left to see. This seemed to be more like the Breakfast Clubs in that if you're not there at 9am on the dot then there's no point in going.

Oh well, my new daughters first Goodwood anyway at only 5 days old smile

Well said! My brother and I were also in the Hedge End run, both with the roofs down!

A really good run down.

Ps. My girlfriend loves your SLK!
Thanks Dan,

I was snug and warm with the roof up until I saw you topless at Hedge End, so I thought I'd give it a try too, no regrets, more fun, so;clap Thank You.

A really enjoyable morning, great weather, tasty breakfast and a very nice selection of cars.

Thanks very much to everyone at PH Towers for arranging everything.

Grest morning. Thanks Paul and everyone else that organised and helped.

The white 458 sounded particularly nice through hindhead tunnel on the way home!

+1 and that Ferrari cloud9 seeing it parked up 'all mucky' from the drive down makes me want one even more!

+ another one.

Thanks PH for arranging it all as well as paying whatever you had to pay to get the weather sorted.

I was also a bit surprised how early everyone seemed to leave, having driven over 3 hours to get there, expected it to go on a bit longer. Still a great 'day' though, great cars and couldn't have asked for better weather for the time of year.
Thanks PH for organising it.

People did seem to leave unusually early for this one. Normally good stuff around until at least 12... Perhaps it's because people had Christmas plans on the same day??

Did anyone see/hear my brother's blue VX220 Turbo leave? First time he's managed to get a massive bang from the exhaust! 3 big bangs in fact! 1st and 2nd gear. Made me laugh in myZ4 following behind!

Be cool if someone had a video.

We went on to west wittering with the dogs after an hour as its so close but I'd imagine its the Xmas thing, not many shopping days left!
