Got back about an hour ago - 250 miles in total, all good fun! Good to see everyone again - not been on many PH drives where the Porsches outnumber the TVRs!
Always like driving round Dorset - particularly Purbeck as my family went there on holiday every year!

Many thanks to everyone for making it a great day out. Not so sure we got much "dawdling" done except on the walk to Durdle Door but it was great to see you all again.

I took a few photos which can be viewed at http://gallery105778.fotopic.net/c310018.html from tomorrow morning (Monday)

See you at the next one

Got back to civilisation - well York anyway - at about 13:15 having started off at 06:20.

Thanks to all for turning up. I enjoyed the day out and was good to meet with you all again.

Denny, when you sort out a date for the next one please let me know. I would like to do a dawdle where I did not do the leading. Sort a route out and I might come back to the south coast.

When I next get around to thinking about a 'Hampshire Hoon' I'll be sure to make sure you know all about it, Bob.

As to leading it: After POTB3 it looks like I may have handed over the baton to DustyC who did a fine job...but you never know, I may come out of retirement!

Yes, great run, even though I missed half of it due to lazing around in the morning. Thanks to (bullet) Bob for organising it and look forward to the next. I'm not leading

Good timing to see you all just outside of Dorchester eh?

Grouch.

Yes great day, thanks to everyone, especially Bob and Den for organising. True, the Porches outnumbered the Tivs, although I thought the German team might be down one silver one at one point...

Thanks to Don and Mrs Don for giving Ben a ride - first thing he said when he saw his parents was "I had a go in a Boxter S!"

And AJ - I promise I will revise my Porsche model numbers before we meet again... as long as you rebuild those carbs! You know you want to! You can post the photos with the hosepipe coming out of each ear.

Cheers, Dean.

Why not lead Steve ? You must know some good roads around Dorchester and west Dorset. You could use the usual Top 'o Town car park (the other DD starting point) as well. Leading is easy, as long as you can see most of the cars and have the confidence to stop and wait for the stragglers.

I was surprised to see you on the Weymouth road but well met

Bob

PS Where are the pictures Don - I was looking forward to seeing them this morning.

Tonight, Bob. Trials and tribulations of a hectic work schedule I'm afraid...

Ta Don. Some excellent pics of the day there. I like the one of the path to Durdle Door - I'm sure its a lot steeper than it looks in the photo though.

Cheers Don, just looked at the pics It seems that I have my back to the camera in every shot that I'm in (which is not a bad thing).
The picture 0019. I'm sure I was in the car at this time, it seems that I have magically disappeared.

Yes, The problem was my brain I think. I didn't have it plugged in at the back of the RA properly. The wire that is, not my brain.
