PS. Thanks for the details Jeremy

I might be wrong here but I think I'm the only one coming up from 'down here' and at that time in the morning the road from Chandlers Ford and from Stokes Bay to the start point are different ones, well this side of guildford anyway. I'll see you at the start point in Surrey if thats OK.

I'm really tempted to come along, but I can't help thinking that a Clio 172 Cup will be left trailing behind

I hope you're not implying that we would ever break any of this fair land's oh-so-reasonable speed limits on our little jaunt?

At risk of starting a Harry Enfield sketch... I will be coming along the A303 and up the M3 to the M25, electrical gremlins permitting, maybe see some of you en route then!

Funny - that's exactly what I was implying.

I could ask the parents if I could borrow the Noble, although a categoric "NO" is the most likely response.

I'm sure you'll fit in fine - remember it's not a race!

I'm really tempted too, but I can't see where that funny time mistake has been resolved. Sunday used to be "Letter From America" but now, as far as I can tell, Sunday doesn't start 'til "Broadcasting House"!

Perhaps, as I'm coming from so far north, I can pick up somewhere along the route?

Get your ass down to the start line...I mean meeting point for 7.30!

I'm taking a 60 mile detour beforehand to pick up my passenger. Besides...what else are you gonna do on Sunday

Ok , see you at Clacketts at 6.50/7.00am

only thing that might put us off is the weather. If it's wet and miserable, then we'll probably swerve it.

If its raining I'll keep the roof on.

Not worried about the weather, but I wish my kidney stones would stop grumbling

Any doctors going tomorrow?

Thanks to chimhunter () the Marcos TS500 will be along.

www.metoffice.com/lib/includes/fsssi/city/reigate.html says sun

BBC says broken sun for Reigate, clear sun for Petworth

Metcheck says the odd shower (www.metcheck.com/48hrforecast.asp?lat=51&lon=0&locationID=17&Arr=193&Country=UK&Coastal=&pc=gu28)

J, No problem, Shame the TSO wasn't running, that would have been cool.

There was a post on the Surrey TVRCC list from someone (Jeremy?) stating that Racing Green have to notify the police of any open days, so be careful of speed traps when we get down near Ash Vale. I mean careful to ensure that you maintain the safe and steady speed, within the posted limits, that we will all have been observing on the way.
