I will try to do so tonight. Day 3 updated to include this section as mentioned in a recent PH article: http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=159&i=280...
I realise you've got a lot of miles to clock on but you're missing some of the best roads by running passed or parallel with them
here two suggestions for day 1 for cracking mountain roads that wont take you out of your way of your route and they'd not busy (we have the roads just about to ourselves when we go in early September one car every 5 miles or so if that)
1) after your diversion off the B4518 for the stop at point C when you get back on the B4518 turn off shortly next left for the yellow road towards Machynlleth, cracking road, then on to A489 to rejoin your route at Cemmaes Roads (10 points if you see the living history pub there)
2)at Dinas Mawddwy (another excellent old pub) turn off the A470 and take another cracking road to Pandy, to rejoin your route at LLanuwcllyn (expect to be slow going at the lake, I try to avoid the B4403 but the 'white roads to the east and west of there are my favourites in Wales)
we stopped two nights in the Y Giler Arms the year before last, basic hotel but OK small rooms and I'm used to small rooms, the A5 is nearby but when we went it didn't have much traffic at all outside of 'rush hour' and even then it wasn't that busy
if you're interested I'll look at the other days and make suggestions but if not I wont be offended, we've been to Wales in September for a week for the last 4 years and going back this year so know that area a bit
EFA: Cemmaes Roads pub is only open in the evening 6-11
