Cheers to all that attended much appreciated
Great morning and not too hot eithier
Sorry to the AMG and Yellow Ginetta that were parked out of the way
We tried to bring the parking closer to the display cars this year and it worked well but at that point we needed to expand but then we had an influx of people leaving so didnt need to take the extra space
Hope you all enjoyed anyway
Dougie
Don't worry about it, just sorry to the lovely Ginetta that my big silver barge blocked from view

If you want understated, try showing up in a Saab ;-)

Good morning out, thanks for organising PH!

Lots of interesting metal, ones that stand out for me are the blue mini, Mk1 Escort, the two E30 M3's (both looked immaculate!), the two 1M's, the two CSL's (one had 'CSL Cup' sticker on it - is it a special?)...very eclectic mix, I could go on.

Looking forward to the next one smile

Thanks for organising Dougie, it was an excellent venue with some really interesting motors on display and attending. Good value coffee and bacon rolls too.

I wonder if our panel van was a SS first? It certainly contrasted nicely with the M3 CSL and E30 M3 next door.

Something i'm not sure many people may have found.

1995 Cavalier Touring Car Engine. Roller barrel throttles, 8 injectors and the famous Swindon reverse cylinder head. Serious piece of kit yes

Jolly good morning as always, and I'm pleased to be able to say that the BX has at last made it to a PHSS. Even if it did take an irrational dislike to the concept of deploying its radiator fans on the way there. 'Character', etc. But a great line-up of cars, my favourites being the sublime Ferrari 250GT 2+2 (I think?) and the fantastic Cavalier 'Silver Aero'. Excellent work to all concerned, and huge thanks to Vauxhall and Mr Garlick for making it happen.

Who was it that managed 61.? MPH on the football game thing as well?

Had a go myself and realised 61 had to be achieved by some big hard hitter eek

Chips? There were chips? Damn.

Favourite bit; The Gardner-Douglas GDT70. Gorgeous. Beautifully built. Scarily quick (probably!)

Least favourite bit; Getting lost in Luton on the way home and ending up in a bus lane. Awaiting the dreaded letter now.

Great morning, had a look round on my own very interesting and the workshop had a lot of character smile feel guilty at not washing it although I did bring along a Noahs ark of insects from Hertfordshire to add to the day smile

Thanks
