"nicely nuked sauccision"

As I read it, nowt t'do wi brown sauce, more like well done pork offerrings of the Walls variety

and Ben... by "t'baarns", our good fellow Martyn is obviously referring to ones out-buildings. The rest of us northern folk simpy call them bogs.

Hi,

Newish member here. I'm coming up on Sunday (huge thanks to Craig!) from North London so I guess I'll head up the M1. Any meetings / convoys I can hook up with? A little hoon on the way up to get me in the mood would be ideal! Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Cheers

Hi Rob,

Meeting at J11 M1 at about 8. If you are coming up from waterloo I assume you will take the A41 up towards N London and then hit the M1. If so, want to meet as I am very close to the A1/A41 junction?

Give me a call - 07771 523421 to arrange.

Cheers

Sounds good Adam,

How long do you think it will take to get from Waterloo to J11?

Cheers,

Rob

One final thing ladies & gents.

Dont forget to take a look over your cars prior to sunday.

Please check the usual, coolant, oil levels, tyre pressures, tyre condition and don't forget, a clean car is 1mph quicker than a dirty one

Ta ta kiddos.

Rob, Assuming you are coming up the A41, then I would suggest we meet at Apex Corner as we both have to drive last it. That time of morning, and with a little enthusiasm, we can be at J11 in half an hour without any problem. How about we meet near Apex at 7:45?

Adam, excellent idea. Now I just need to know where apex corner is! A multimap reference would be good. Sorry, but I don't know my way around London very well.

Also, roughly how long will it take to get there from Waterloo?

Rob

Rob, do you know where the TVR centre is at Barnet??
If so Apex corner is the roundabout down the A1 from the barnet/borehamwood aroundabout.

Off the apex corner(A1) roundabout is A41 you should be able to work it out from this Map

To add, sorry dont know how long from waterloo

On Sunday Morning you are probably talking 30 Minutes tops.

Watch out for speed cameras on Finchley Road and Hendon Way. as thats the route you will probably come from Waterloo.

If you want exact locations( of cameras) and directions drop me a line.

While I think of it, I'll be heading over from Cambridgeshire, so taking the A14 past Huntingdon to the M1 before picking up the wiggly roads from there.

Ease of navigation and all that. Anyone else going from this neck of the woods?

Cheers,

Blowdog,

I'm in Stanmore, care to hook up and check the traction on the local roads before we hit the M1? I can feel an Apex corner meet in the air.

Cheers

How about 7:30 at the Burger king. From there we go up the A41 to Watford which is a short run with a cheap shell petrol station there ( there is a shell by the BK as well but the Watford one is better) the onto the M1, up to J11 to collect oggs and then rumour has it there is a Services stop as well to hook up with some others.

If anyone wants to get hold of me, call anytime on 07771 523421 to arrange or confirm

Starting to really look forward to this, nothing better than a nice morning hoon, followed by a hoon on the track, rounded off with a hoon on the way home!
