RACE 2 RECOVERY - BOWLER WILDCAT!
John Goldie has pushed some buttons and twiddled with knobs and - fantastically - arranged for a team member of Race2Recovery to bring along their Bowler Wildcat that they campaign in various offroad adventures, including the Dakar rally through South America in 2013.
The Race2Recovery team gives combat-injured servicemen and women the chance to participate in motorsport.

That's great, watched these boys only last night, rotten luck on the Paris-Dakar rally, seem a great bunch, would love to have seen/met, any change you could move this event forward a week??? We haven't set a limit this time as we all know some people won't turn up. Last time I reckon over 150 registered cars were no-shows, probably from registering early and then forgetting.
I will limit it to 600 if it gets that high, and expect 480-500. If anyone is wavering about whether to spend the day surrounded by great cars and great people and helping seriously ill children, or going shopping for a new kettle, then I appeal to them to choose noise, shiny metal and banter.

GSR Maxilight - PAUL HARRIS
I've been hunting down some more offroad machines, and, following a weekend of racing that has thankfully not destroyed his GSR Maxilight, Paul Harris has confirmed he'll be bringing it to CWC.
I will limit it to 600 if it gets that high, and expect 480-500. If anyone is wavering about whether to spend the day surrounded by great cars and great people and helping seriously ill children, or going shopping for a new kettle, then I appeal to them to choose noise, shiny metal and banter.
