OT. Hi dixie. Think I have seen your car around, used to live in Evercreech and have seen it outside the strode arms once or twice. Very nice I have to say smile

I registered on Monday via the CWC website but I see I'm not on the PH calendar, so have added myself to that too. Hope it's not going to create a duplication.

Edit: just seen the registration on CWC was to get email comms. Oh dear. Too early in the morning for this. hehe

Thanks in advance to organisers and sponsors. Looking forward to the 3rd CWC. smile

Can you offer a raffle prize to help Children's Hospice South West? Maybe you have a good relationship with a dealer that could organise a factory tour, or maybe you race and your team could offer some tickets? Maybe you have some memorabilia hanging around that we could auction?

We need prizes of all sizes to draw more people in and to raise much-needed funds for this great charity.

RAFFLE PRIZE - £30 VOUCHER FOR GO APE

I'm sure most people are aware of Go Ape. They run some great, family-friendly activities in lots of locations throughout the UK, including Segway - which is, frankly, loads of fun.

They have kindly donated two £30 vouchers which can be put toward some of their adventures.

We'll split them into two separate prizes.

See the Go Ape website here.

My girlfriend, Nicky, has awesomely arranged for her group of professional cake designers to provide some scrumptious decorated muffins and cupcakes, which we'll be selling at the event.

FACE PAINTING AT CWC

We all like to go home looking like a tiger, or maybe a butterfly. Admit it, people! biggrin

A talented local facepainter called Suzanna has agreed to come along to the show and keep the kids happy with some bespoke facial art.

And, what's more, she's agreed to donate all her proceeds to the Children's Hospice!

All she is asking in return is to take a few pictures for her website, which can be found here:

The event is very relaxed and everyone attending is very much a part of the show. However, a relatively small number of vehicles are chosen for the showcase area each year in order to create an interesting cross section of PH transport and to provide a suitable location for some of the very valuable and rare stuff that comes along.

You can find the contact details for the organiser (Graham) on the Caring with Cars website (an address is shown towards the bottom of that page) if you'd like to get in touch, he is happy to hear from everyone who is thinking of attending. You can also subscribe to news updates on that page if you'd like to be kept up to date on information about the event.

Please also don't forget to register on the PH Calendar to ensure that a space is reserved for you.
