You made it in too. Problem was you moved off just as I took a pic of your car, so a bit too blurry frown

We did in the end but for some reason he had this thing about having his doors open all the time so the marshal had to tell him to shut them so we could get parked. :s

To be fair on the Scooby it looked decent (for that scene) and sounded good when leaving, although as others have said the music wasn't to my taste - test CD for the system? (if there was one as I didn't look).

Guess its horses for courses, whilst I aspire to an old school esque motor (Ultima/TVR etc.) he must be of the Gran Tourismo generation and prefer Jap rally reps/GTR's with more computerised systems/turbos

While I appreciate the love and attention that goes into something like that Scoobie, it's just not for me either and to be honest, I felt the music, doors open and business card eye-lashes was a bit too "yoof" for me.

But I might just be old before my time.

Once again, lovely first Pistonheads experience for a long term lurker and it's even got me posting on the forums so can't be a bad thing

The snot rocket(Subaru) did sound/go well thou when leaving

would of been more suited to the summer Wednesday meet at brands last night,

also its a shame the green wrapped R8 didn't make an appearance would of matched quite well!

I can confirm the Subaru wasn't on the list folks...But alas he was one of the 10-15 early birds that arrived even before I did hehe But yes...Not in the right spirit, just one of the few that heard about it via word of mouth & decided to try their luck...Which a few did when they arrived, only to then turn round & go back out again once they saw we were checking at the gate!

Anyway, thank you everyone for coming down...Especially those that knew their numbers which made it nice & quick for people to get in & parked up.

It was our last event at the Grasshopper & hindsight showed it was the right move to throttle the numbers of cars attending so it wasn't a squeeze & was comfortable all round for everyone that arrived. All in, the event went like clockwork so I'm pleased smile

Highlights: Dino & the F430 Scud - & the rare 1 in 7 in the world, Strosek 911 Convertible.
Best Noise: The Black GTR made us all melt.

May's thread will be up shortly...Trust me, you won't want to miss this one. Some real novelties which you will not get ANYWHERE else smile

Sorry I didnt get to talk to many people, went off afterwards to do a shoot with Scott and his R1.

Be good to meet others another time.

Dont this age comes into it smile I'm 22 and not a fan...Dont really like the cars or their image, the music was a bit out of place..

Is the reason why im not too bothered about brands hatch summer wednesday as its mainly people like this who attend.

Piston heads for me are hands down the best meet - both the meets Umair arranges and their Sunday service. Great selection of cars to drool over that I aspire to one day own biggrin (dreams ey?)

Can't wait for the next one, the 265 Trophy will certainly be along smile
