Hi guys
what a turn out that was,
although it took me a couple of hours from central London I think it's worth it
I made a small video clip of people accelerating away and starting up,
hope you enjoy

Well done on another fantastic meet Umair.
Great to see so such a variety of cars. Not too many of the boy racer brigade either which was nice.
Look forward to the next one.

I must concur with all of the above members, that the GH event was extremley well organised and a civilised mature event which I attended for the first time and will again.
The following evening I attended the BH Summer Wednesdays event which was attended on mass by the 'fast & furious' crowd who although lavish a lot of time and money on their rides unfortunately do attract some dubious members of the public? This is not a critism, just an observation!

It's the 'fly-bys' In front of camera phone holding onlookers that are the problem not so much the swift exits which IMO are more about noise than car control (I will leave an event in a spirited manner occasionally but I know my limits). However, saying that, you only have to watch this you tube clip to be reminded that powerful car + untalented driver = problems! I know a fair bit about hosting car events and this video graphically shows that organisers have to be very wary about who attends their events!

I stayed until late and that's when people say no names Fiesta 13 plated "ST" decided to overtake on the bend outside the pub over 100+ mph onto oncoming traffic...... god to think if he crashed into a car or the tractors what a complete """".
Can I just make it clear that wasn't a ST that was the black zetec S, not my blue 63 ST. Just to make it clear if any bannings where to happen I'd like to just clarify that I haven't indicated who will be banned & for what reason, so speculating won't lead to anything chaps.
The new venue unfortunately won't allow fly by's to occur unfortunately...Not in the conventional sense at least
Thread for the next event going up in 24hrs time.

Can't be me, I was concerned people would criticise me for having too slow an exit! Seems PH is frequented by sensible, rational people rather than meatheads that think it's ALL about noise and speed... there's a time and a place for that, and a busy pub/public road in the dark isn't one of them... that's not to say I didn't enjoy the GTR... ;o)
