PH at Wilton Classic and Supercar

Forget the rain for a second, here's a summer event you won't want to miss

PistonHeads is proud to announce that once again we are sponsoring Wilton House Classic and Supercar with Castrol Edge for its sixth year on Sunday August 10 and that means good news for Wilton-going PHers as usual.

Come on summer!
Come on summer!
This year we have teamed up with our sister publication Classic and Sportscar as media partners meaning our private parking area will have an even wider variety of cars. New for 2014 is a dedicated marquee for PHers and C&SC readers serving breakfast as you arrive (charged) meaning no more queuing at the other outlets. It promises to be a great base throughout the day for when you want to get away from it all.

The theme for this year's WCS show is "head to head" with classic icons meeting their modern day counterparts as the main attraction.

Other show highlights include:

  • 175 Supercars rumbling down the drive to the North lawn of Wilton House.
  • Precision Trials bike display team
  • Display rally course
  • Manufacturers displaying their latest cars
  • Plenty of trade stands

There are two types of ticket available to buy, premium and standard. Standard tickets give you access to the event and displays and premium tickets give access to the show, displays, the Staterooms within Wilton House and the Hospitality area in the garden enclosure.

Expect another stunning supercar show
Expect another stunning supercar show
Prices for advance standard tickets are £15 per adult and £6 for children (5-15 years old). Advance premium tickets are £30 per adult and £15 per child. Family tickets are also available. We can't guarantee that tickets will be available on the day but if they are, the price will be higher so the incentive is there to buy in advance and save a bit of money. Tickets can be purchased here and more information about the event can be found here.

As mentioned we will have our own dedicated PistonHeads/Classic and Sportscar parking area away from the masses once again catering for 800 PH cars (and an additional 400 from C&SC). As per usual, you'll need to sign up on the calendar to take advantage of this; the spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Nearer the event we will email all those on the list with a logo to print out and display on your dashboard as you arrive.

We look forward to seeing you at Wilton House.

Maybe just me but it's not quite clear. Do I need a premium ticket for the PH marquee or is a standard one fine?

Any ticket gets you access to PH cafe as it's within the PH parking area, the ticket benefits are all contained within the show itself.

Great to see this again. Always been great weather and it's good to get up and close to the cars and meet people.

I always bring my own food to this event though. I remember seeing the queues for the food stalls last time. Genuinely felt sorry for those people queuing and for how much you had to pay.

Can't wait for this!

Sadly in 2013, we were let down buy a number of caterers, this combined with record crowds led to far to long queues.... HOWEVER for 2014 we have signed up already a lot more caterers including some new ones which we are very excited about!

It's adjacent to the show, closer than the main parking and very much 'on site'.

Hi Jaykaybi,

Just bought tickets for this and am really looking forward to it.

I've opted for a ticket with parking in the West Lawn enclosure....does this mean that the cars there are effectively 'on show' or is it a bit further away form the action? smile

Cheers,

Si

Not quite on show, no, but as close as can possibly be to the House and the main attractions.
