I heard that North Weald Airfield Wings Cafe is welcoming drivers who decide to Drive it on Sunday 27th April 2014 .I can recommend the food, the staff are friendly. I have used it several times. Its a great location with easy access to M25 and M11. The address is North Weald Airfield, Essex CM16 6HR.. They have their own facebook page, have a look at it

This is where the Players show is in September

Its the perfect place to stop for breakfast, brunch or lunch

Looks like a great location, nice and open with plenty of space to get good photos of your car, even get to watch the vintage aircraft from Weald Aviation being prepped for flight on sunny days. Food is spot on - good size portions at good prices!! I'm going.

it is a date when many of those that don't normally use their classics bring them out on the road - but only if it doesn't look like rain of course

because the cars are rarely on the road and the owners have rarely driven them so have no idea how good their cars are or could or should be the potential for breakdowns and slow driving are high

all leave for breakdown staff is cancelled for this day

if the forecast is for rain or it actually rains on the day, particularly heavy rain, then the unreliable owners with their unreliable classics will of course not appear so those that do will probably go at a reasonable pace and not breakdown

Does anyone know some good places to go around Surrey or north Kent? Brooklands is out of the question and so is Chartwell, as we did that last year. Ideally I'd like somewhere where a club is going so there's plenty for me to admire and photograph.
