Morning all, thanks so much to everyone that made the trip down it was absolutely excellent to see so many nice cars turn up!

Great to chat to some of you although I was bit all over the place sorting various things so didn't get a chance to go and look at all the cars that arrived but it was great to see so many of you there considering the weather :-)

We're looking already to organise a much bigger & better event for late June so hope most of you will be up for that too! (We'll have some competitions, raffle, entertaiment etc).

There is a summer meet organised for July 13th.

After a successful first event we are going for bigger and better in the Summer. We'll have a fairly judged "Show & Shine" competition, a large raffle (all funds going to the New Life charity), Hot & Cold Food, and of course CARS from Supercars, modified cars, daily drivers, classics and maybe even something very special - More details TBC but get the date in your diary now!

Ok so this is coming up next weekend and we would like to have some nice metal there again!

Anyone wanting to buy the best detailing products at great prices and over the counter on the day can do it here at this event. Also professional dent repair man will be on hand to help with any of those annoying parking dings should you need them removing!

The idea is to have show and shine entries on the one side of the car park and some of the supercar and performance cars on the other.

I'm hoping to come along weather permitting. prob won't enter show and shine (unless the entries V poor!) but would want to be in sports and performance cars. Bit precious of my ginetta to leave it in a "public" car park.

Cool, the 10 show and shine were a pre-entry thing and have been decided but the Ginetta would be more than welcome to park up in the Sportscar area!

The event runs from 10 until 4/5pm and there's a large raffle in aid of a very special charity that my Uncle set-up http://www.newlifespecialcarebabies.org/

Most important to everyone is the food and we have the best Hog Roast in the area "The Hogfather" so that should go down well too ;-)

Why would the show and shine be limited and pre entry only?

We only had 10 spaces for it as we wanted to do things a little different and let people that turn up vote for which one out of the 10 the think should win. The idea was that we announced all the prizes up front and asked people to pre-register their interest, then the 10 were picked at random to make it fair. We didn't want to end up with either no cars or too many to fit in :-)
