Brands Hatch are starting their Summer Wednesday evening car event. Free to all vehicles car & bikes. On track activity, food and drink. Looks like being a great night out.

First event is Wednesday 2nd April.

These are pretty decent gatherings, although can attract a couple of cars later on that would fit right into the "badly modified" thread. But just ignore those.

Was going to go tonight, but my Mini's radiator bracket decided to spit out one of it's top bolts somewhere along the A21 last night.

Next month though, and when evenings stay lighter for longer.

I went last night, and it was a great event... Huge turn out, good atmosphere and some intersting cars of all shapes and sizes.

around 1000 cars last night! Brilliant night, track time till 8pm added to the early atmosphere and such a selection of cars and bikes.

An amazing turnout of cars at the BH Summer Wednesday meet last night. Probably 500+ modified cars, which included some great classic Fords and high performance production vehicles. Probably far too many boy racer types which attracted some dubious members of the public though!

Gates opened at 6pm and by 7pm the car park was getting full and they were turning people away. Probably 2000-3000 public.

Hopefully the meeting will develop with more classic/exotic and non production vehicles turning up.

But no comparison with the well run Grasshopper Event the night before. Look forward to receiving details of the May+ events.

just to clarify no-one was turned away until 9pm apart from a couple of cars with dogs inside !

Didn't actually make it to the event, but hope the guys who binned their EVO just off the Swanley roundabout were OK?
