Recieved a text today from a mate who i go to Wheelsday with.

"No more Wheelsday,Surrey Street Rodders no longer running it"

So did the failings of new venue make them pull the plug ?

Anyone else know anything ?

Loads of very negative posts around which is a great shame, we left it a bit late and got caught in a massive jam but knowing the area well turned round and did a detour at least we kept moving.

I am sure next year so long as it happens will be a huge success, just give them a little time to reflect on this year and jobs a good un.

I did feel a little uneasy handing over £20.00 to some girl in a yellow tabard and not given any ticket and then read they stopped charging at one point !!!!

Better organising will sort it out so don't be too negative as I am sure thousands like me want this to happen next year for sure.

I deffo want it to continue.

I first went in 1980 when it was at Slyfield market.

Missed out a decade or so and restarted going sometime inthe 2000s.

It would be a great shame if this disappeared - it's a great show - I have been attending for years.
