Hi Scott,

It's been more disjointed this year with a lot of changes behind the scenes, but the event itself is still very well organised and is bigger than last year.
As i mentioned i've stepped back due to my workload so have not been able to do as much as I would like.

The other members of the organising team are also very busy but I do understand your frustration, we all do.

The lessons learnt from the public facing stuff this year will mean we will do it better next year, in the meantime I've noticed there are tickets available on Groupon which I think you and other PH'ers could take advantage of.

http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/events/gl-the-super...

I would suggest buying those while they are available and on arrival tell the marshalls you're either with PH or your car club (SES in your case) so you can still park in the right area.

In them meantime, i did speak to Nathan at PH on the phone a couple of weeks ago and am still waiting for him to get back to me o what PH would like to do.
I know he's busy with taking over from Garlick so it's probably slipped his mind so I think the groupon option is the best one at this stage.

We have 10 - 14 cars on stand this year (Sunday only).
I'm never quite sure these 2-day events work on a Saturday as most of us car buff's are Sunday people......

I volunteered at this event for the past couple of years. If anything, the Saturday was busier last year.

From Bromley, but I join the M25 at J6 to go down - I'm guessing you're from the Caterham sort of area then?

Where abouts are you volunteering? I'm working with the pit crew, but also have my car on the Sporting Bears stand too smile

Unfortunately, I can't make it this year. But, for the past few years I've helped with running the ticket sales for the caterhams.

A ride with them is a MUST. They're really nice people and totally mad. hehe

That's a shame you can't make it frown

I know what you mean about the Caterhams! Couldn't really summarise them better - I was completely speachless after a ride hehe

You'll probably know Julian with his immaculate Escort Turbo. He's usually on the Sporting Bears stand at Dad's Day Out.

Come and say hello to the Caterham crowd...we sometimes get forgotten at the end of the runway.... if you've never been in a 7 before, you might be a little surprised .. in a good way...

I'll be in an Orange R400. Say hello !!

We're not mad .. just a little strange....and we just like to take the opportunity to drive them like we stole them :-)

Can't wait....

Indeed I do. He took me out for a spin at the Supercar Siege last year! Pretty insane (as is the very loud gearbox hehe)

Thinking the same. I'm about 6 miles from J6 on the M25 so would be heading that way.

Anyone on here take a ride in my GTR - reg started DA59. I was there all Saturday and Sunday to lunchtime.

I hope the gentle "kiss" between the F430 Spider and the Maserati wasn't too expensive for either party..

Great charity and my RS29's newly installed Friday are now well and truly bedded-in!!!

Highlight had to be Chris Evans showing up in his 3 day old La Ferrari (sex on wheels) and auctioning off 5 passenger rides @ £1k a pop!
