Thanks Steve for organising a great day out with fantastic roads. Great to meet so many like-minded enthusiasts too. Really enjoyed stretching the legs on the TVR - I think that's the hardest it's been driven since I bought it.
I took some of the roads we used back and didn't get home to Nottingham till 10:30!

Hi there mr pg. I was in the convoy that caught up with you on the b4391 last Sunday and followed you some miles before turning off back towards whit church. We were in a trio too. Clio cup, new golf r and Tvr chimera. Agree entirely about this road being one of the best. The leg from ffestiniog is also spectacular too.

And very frustrating that caravan was too along that stretch! I could see you all (difficult to miss a bright yellow tiv) behind us, but even in a 996t, there was absolutely no way of getting past it. The Ffestiniog section is a real gem, up or down. Paul.I agree. That's why we go out so early. We'd pretty much had empty roads up until then and had done wrexham to ruthin. Ruthin to triangle. A5 a bit of traffic. A470 to ffestiniog then over th b4391 and down to Bala for breakfast. Where did you chaps head off to when we turned left back toward Ellesmere.
