Hi nick,

Many thanks for the suggestions and feedback....all is welcomed!

We would love to be able to allow a more relaxed arrival window but I'm afraid Health and Safety rules state that there are to be no vehicle movements during the shows open hours. (unless this is of course a fenced off and marshalled parade)

If you are keen to display a vehicle but want to come and go as you please I would recommend either taking part in a club, purchasing West Lawn tickets or utilising the dedicated PH parking area!

Hi Will,
Thanks for the update.
I don't want to comment on the Jay situation but would offer a suggestion for this year - having joined the Supercar parade for several years, I'm a fan of the event so be assured this comes from a good place.
I do think asking people to be in place by 8am is a bit tough if they have to stay until 4pm - either its a very early start or hotel the night before
Would it be possible for the Supercars to arrive during a window in the morning, say 8-11am, which would allow people to organise their own informal convoys to Wilton while achieving your aim of getting cars there earlier and not all at the same time? I think you might get a bigger turnout
Just a thought, good luck with the organising

If we don't head to London to run back with the others do you have room for a little one?
Of course. smile

As it's getting closer to the event, we're looking at getting some plans in place.

We're thinking of heading up to Surrey on Sat afternoon/eve & stopping over.

We have to pick up the One:1, so could then meet at/near Supervettura first thing in the morning & run down from there.

Have mailed you back Lee - loose plans at the mo as lots still to sort out.

I'm not sure if any of the other guys coming from London/surrounding have any plans in place?

Apparently there was some major site maintenance happening last night and it appears that the mail has been swallowed up. Can you please mail direct to leeharris15@googlemail.com? they did say it may show in a couple days? similar service i get from yodel hehe

Heya everyone, student from London here, and this is a bit cheeky but I was wondering if there was a London to Wilton convoy that if it would be possible for me to catch a ride along? Would be great for me to take some photos and videos, and I would be willing to reimburse some costs. Definitely beats taking the train. Thanks a lot!

We hope that free admission and premium passes for everyone in your car, the best parking, supercar parade, prizes and free breakfast (albeit continental) is pretty fair. There is another show down the road which will charge you £63 per person + £60 to park your car! (with no breakfast or hospitality)

Our aim is to look after everyone who displays their car to the very best of our abilities and we appreciate it is a long day which is why we have tripled the amount entertainment and demonstrations, so will hopefully be a lot of fun!

We hope to plan some pre show activities for supercar owners in 2016, but unfortunately we simply ran out of planning time for this years show. A consequence of bringing it back by 3 months!

Please be quick to avoid disappointment as 50% full already. (we are only accepting x4 of each model to ensure a good mix)
50%? I would have thought it would be more by now. Try posting in the Classics and Supercar sections rather than here if you want to drum up some attendance (this is a quiet place in comparison).

BTW, a free coffee and pastry for the drivers seems a bit seems a bit, well, basic seeing as they are giving up their day, and their cars, for someone elses gain.

I was charged for extra entry for those in the car and told it had to be a premium ticket purchased?

A lot of talk on here of Brooklands so i have booked a room there. I'm unsure if anyone else has done the same but thought it would be good for a group to travel down together. Hopefully see a few of you there. please feel free to inbox me any suggestions/ alternate happenings or if you are joining us there.
If not.... see you for breakfast smile

I'm up from the convoy from brooklands. We Will be coming from "the north" so will need to stay somewhere anyway. Hope to get a few others involved. A fair few of us are familiar with brooklands from previous years

Do we still need to arrive at 8 and stay until 4 as I beilieve is the case?

Would imagine all would have received passes by now. Think it's still 8am start but with public opening at 9 I would be surprised if turned away for being a few minutes late. Always thought fashionably late was a good thing. smile

tbh mate it sounds like a complete farce compared to the previous superb organisation. I decided a while ago not to go this Year and I'm not regretting the decision

Disagree. Received exhibitor passes and welcome instructions ages ago.

Communication from the Wilton Team has been excellent.
