i have signed up twice over the past week for ph parking and twice my name has gone off the list??? Whats going on???
Hi Lee, that sounds a bit weird?! The list was closed about 2 weeks ago as it hit capacity. I can see your name on the reserves list though - perhaps this is where the confusion is coming from?I hope that this helps,
JD

My first time at Wilton this weekend and I got a place for the TVR in the Pistonheads car park......just wondering how I go about finding the PH car park, will it be signposted and do I need anything to get in?
Looking forward to it!
Do you not know the secret password and strange handshake required ?.......Looking forward to it!

2yrs ago my mate & I made the call not to go at 7am due to heavy rain here, everybody that did go got sunburnt! We're going come what may but yes, poor take up from the SW so far, thought Giles etc would have been up for it.
When has the weather forecast ever been right!Indeed, Team Will !! Take no notice of the weather forecast, I say. This year will be my FIFTH WCS Day, its a great day no matter what the weather. Ive been in the rain & scorching hot, too.
Lee ST - In my experience a early arrival is the way to go.
Im leaving south-devon 6.45 & meeting others at Exeter Servs at 7am. See you there !!

Yeah, shame about the weather. Also a little disappointed that the PH car park requires prebooked tickets for the show and not just the sheet PH sent out earlier this week to those subscribed. Little bit disappointed this wasn't made clearer, would definitely have bought the tickets online earlier in the week had I known this. The only reason I didn't was just in case the weather was horrific.
Shame. Might just get on with the triathlon training instead!

Have I missed something?
...I signed up for the PH parking and got the badge emailed over on Wednesday, which I have printed and affixed to my windscreen. I thought I can turn up, park, have breakfast and then pay for a ticket on entrance to the event.
Where did it say the PH parking badges are only valid in conjunction with a pre-purchased ticket for the event itself? If so I have missed this, and I'm usually very observant... what difference does it make anyway? Surely the event organisers would rather I pay £18 for a ticket than £15?

It also reads as if the advance tickets were only available until 19th July... I signed up for the parking 2 weeks ago roughly (#514), and got allocated a parking space... which suggests to me that the special car park will be far from full if there are 150 people after me on the parking list!http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Hi everyone,
Just a quick update and some additional information for those that missed it;
Firstly, tickets are available on the gate.
Secondly, the PH car park is fully booked with over 650 cars registered. You should all have received an email with a printable windscreen badge attached - showing this on arrival will lead to you being directed accordingly. We've been told by Wilton house to head for the main gate and the marshals will take it from there and were issued the travelling directions by them - so we can only assume that they've got everything in hand.
Thirdly, even if you're not registered for PH parking, you can still attend as a nortmal guest and you'll still be able to come into the PH area on foot to say hello.
I hope that this helps and as some other people have already said, when are weather forecasts ever right anyway?!
See you all Sunday,
JD
