The Sunday Service sign up system needs to change. Late last night I was well into the 400's and a a mate of mine was a few places ahead of me but still nowhere near the magical 300.

NOW, I am at 317 and my mate is at 299 (he was at 302 about ten minutes ago...)

What this means is that people who genuinely wanted to attend have been denied places by people selfishly hanging onto a place only to release it at the last minute. What it also means is that there are going to be people in the 300 who probably thought they had no chance of getting in and thus didn't attend...
I'm not sure I agree with this. The system works once you have learnt that loads of people do drop out last minute, often with good reason (see above posts), so don't stop checking until the morning.

What would be a problem was if people in the top 300 don't remove themselves from the list and don't turn up, but from this morning, even with dodgy weather, it looked like our allocated parking area was bursting at the seams so I don't suspect this is an issue.

Thanks PH and Jag for great day. Can't beat free entrance to museum, free bacon roll and free coffee smile

Couple of snaps of cars in the museum

Must say the XE looks good in the flesh

Great meet. Well Done PH and Jaguar for the hospitality and those that turned up.
A nice selection of cars inside the museum and outside in the car park, even the weather held off for a good while to allow a look around.
Some fantastic 'noises' as people were leaving and a big thanks to McLaren Special Ops for allowing me to have a good mooch around! Lovely car beer

Really good Sunday service despite the weather. Really enjoyed free breakfast indoors and free museum, perfect for a wet day, some previous venues certainly wouldnt have worked so well as a SS in this weather.

Top marks to JLR for the free brekkie and coffee and allowing us to crawl all over the XE. Looks incredible in the flesh, why would you buy a 3 series or A4 with this in the market place? Also cheer to the PH boys for another cracking SS. See you all again next weekend at MBW.

I took quite a few photos which I'll sort later, the wife's brake pads require changing first. frown

Great effort and finally the rain ceases towards the end. Some great motors at the event and inside the heritage centre. They seem to have updated it in the recent years too.
A few pics from me including my own vRS :-

Great meet - great hospitality, thanks to all involved in organising and manning it. Am sure will be back for a more leisurely tour of the museum another time.

Your car sounded good on the way out!

Top marks to JLR for the free breakfast & museum access, a normal car park based event wouldn't have worked too well given the weather.

Thanks PH and Jag for an excellent SS. Respect to the owner of the Carrera GT - I can't imagine trying to drive that in the rain particularly the torrential downpour on the M40 around 8:45.

Thanks for another superb S.S. A great morning despite the weather, the best so far, especially for those with a family. Felt a bit guilty not bringing the Cosworth out and then finding the Carrera GT,Aventador etc.

Me the wife and our 6 month old daughter loved our morning. The wife loved the F Types, I loved the E63 and our daughter loved the 2 hour nap to get there.

Big thanks to everyone involved.

I think some people (i know I did at Silverstone SS) just take a punt that f you're on the first 100 reserves you'll almost certainly get in.
