Jason that was also a pleasure to meet you and Stuart (?), that's a lovely car you've got there and it was nice to speak to someone so willing to share their knowledge and experience. Hopefully won't be long before I join the club biggrin

Hello Lew,

Yeah it was Stuart with me and many thanks for the car comments.. I love talking about the car to those who are interested in listening and nice to give a little advise gained from experience where I can to future owners biggrin

After hearing about your running costs on the V12 you have nothing to worry about to scratch an itch in a TVR.

If you ever want to know more on the subject mail me anytime, and I'm sure we could arrange a trip out in it if you've never been in one.
Regards Jas

When I arrived the rain was going sidewise
I cannot see the point in asking someone to stand in the rain ticking off a list with so many potential no shows

A useful suggestion might be to ask members to print off and display their own usernames for each event

Enough people with cameras to post a rogues gallery after the event for non display of username
Those invited who forget to print one off can apologise have leg pulled on the forum

And those who should not have been there can suffer a Sunday service ban, lifted by suitable donation tbc

Ps thanks for the Nice rolls and coffee

Hi Ross,

We totally agree and it is something we're working on, unfortunately other things on the site take priority but it's definitely going to be worked on.

In the meantime PHers really do need to think before putting their name down, don't reserve a space if you might be able to go and unless you are 100% certain you're going to be there, please don't put your name down. It's not fair to your fellow petrolheads.

Nathan
I think regardless of what you do, there'll still be last-minute drop-outs on the day - whether it be due to work/business; family emergencies or little-used weekend/toy cars suffering mechanical issues; or just people being selfish and sticking their name down 'just in case'. The latter are the ones that need policing, but I can't see how you could do it easily?

In my case the car was all prepped the night before, but my daughter decided cracking her head open was preferable to a morning out with me looking at cars! I popped in on the way home from A&E but it was all over by then.

Thanks, I'll pass that onto the ol'man, she's his XJR-S. We we're commenting to say it was nice/rare to see two XJR's such as yours and another black one.
It was nice to see another couple of TWR cars there. Even many Jaguar specific shows don't have any, let alone three. I was quite chuffed when I saw the space next to your Dad's car was open for me to park in!

Also, I don't want anyone to think I was saying that I hadn't enjoyed myself on my previous post. We had a great time and I'd like to thank everyone involved for a brilliant morning. Loved everything there from the XE and SNAFU ( smile ) Land Rover to the two Vortex cars and watching the RR Sport traversing the off road course behind the car park. I just wish the guy on the gate had been a little more switched on!
This one, parked up next to its great, great Grandson
