I had a really good time at MBW and had fun taking a bit of a back country road detour with the OH in his Exige, our friend in his VR6 Golf & me in my Evo when we came across a closed A24!

Really hope there is another one especially as the rumoured one is pretty much on our door step smile

Thanks to MBW and Pistonheads for today. Ended up coming in the daily driver as three people don't fit into the TVR..

Also had a really good morning, really good selection of cars.

No idea who's it was but the beige/greyish coloured 911 (912 I think) at the end of the strip closest to MB world was absolutely beautiful.

I did feel a bit robbed by the '15 minute' drive though, was in the car less than 10 minutes! Instructor let slip that they were told to do 5 laps rather than 15 minutes. £6 a lap seems quite dear to me.
Based on the reg (A 911) and the fact it was a "50" special edition I had a closer look, it's a Porsche UK car.

The Porsche press car (reg A911) was modeled on the 60's era 912/911 (912 shell with 6 cylinder engine) . They were similar colours and both had hounds tooth cloth

There were some lovely Porsche there yesterday. I particularly like the early car with the RSR? type rear lights. The demo car looked great in the 60's beige paint too.

Highlights for me were the Nobles, XJ220 and newest incarnation of the M3.

Another vote for best SS of the year. Staff at MBW were excellent, we'll definitely be going back. The fact that they opened up more cars and AMG area for PHers was impressive, compared with Porsche who roped off their upstairs last time.
Where/when does the raffle price get announced?

Another great sunday.

Got to test drive their E63 AMG S.... What a car. And some of the cars in display in their center were just amazing.

Would also like to give a thumbs up to some of you who turned up in some interesting cars!

Biggest win for me yesterday was taking my 7 year old daughter.
Usually the car thing is a big turn off for her...
...but she loved it yesterday. The drive there, the banter outside, the museum and the old merc models, the blown up F1 car, lunch inside, and then to top it off a high speed spin in one of the AMGs on track at pace (well, it was pacey for her smile ) and the low friction surface too.

All in all, I think I have managed to find my Sunday morning car outing partner smile

For me, that makes this one of the best Sunday Services. Thanks to PH and MB

Dunno if it was just me, but the cars going around the track and skid pan were pretty mesmerising in the glorious weather; when it was time to go, I kept walking away to my car but kept stopping to watch them do the same thing over and over biggrin
I shot a little vid.

This was my first SS, and was a great day. Only live a few miles down the road, so was perfect. Big thanks to everyone involved in organising the day. Had a chance to speak to lots of people with interesting cars, and felt very welcome. (not the case at some other events I have attended)

Also a special thanks to the kind owner of the 993 turbo, who let me take a closer look - it really made my day. And IMO was the best car in attendance!

I was there, albeit only for an hour or so. Nice to catch up with those that I saw.

Good work on the SS, great turnout and you even arranged the weather!

Fantastic meet. Great mix of cars, nice weather and a very warm welcome from MBW (aside from the GT3 SLS being absent from the building this time!)

Did notice that the exit road was blocked shortly after the Porsche left: loved the noise, but did think that departure might have been a tad excessive.

Some superb pictures so far, keep them coming!

Thanks to those who got photos of my Electric Green Elise too, some cracking shots.
