I have never been to this event but with no Le Mans Classic in 2015 I could be very tempted.

Went this year for the first time (to the classic not spa), absolutely fabulous. Stayed just outside Spa in a 6 berth static caravan on a marvelous campsite, great value for money and the racing was wonderful.

I've been going since the Spa Classic started.

It's organised by the same people who run the Le Mans Classic so you are guaranteed of high quality grids.

Le Mans is such a special place but Spa has some big advantages as far as I'm concerned:
- Terrific routes to get there through the Ardennes
- Bigger mix of cars racing (inc single seaters, touring cars, etc) not only GTs with Le Mans heritage
- The circuit is awesome and you can easily walk a full lap
- Not so busy so easier getting in/out when you want
- Access to all grandstands, general admission areas and the paddocks can be achieved with one ticket
- And the very best bit for me is the circuit is much better to drive during the Parade Laps and there are fewer cars on the track

Feel free to email me if you want more info.

Cheers,
L'rs

A lot depends if you are going in your sports car or not.
If you are going in a sports car then you can usually get parked on the in-field and purchase some track time.
I think it is about 30 minutes on track which although it is not a proper track day is great fun (for an amateur like me!).
I would look up the official ticket agents to book this kind of thing. Some car clubs appear to do it too.

I would also recommend walking around the whole circuit. It is quite hilly in places, but the views are worth the effort.

As for hotels and camping, there is plenty of choice around Spa, so depending on what you are looking for, there should be something for you. I have noticed that next year it is bank holiday weekend so that is why I have booked early.

I'm going and went in 2012 as well, great event, and a great place to watch any motorsport.

Not sure what I am allowed to say on here but I am going with these guys www.fasttracktours.co.uk same as I did in 2012. Its friendly, well organized, well priced and easy to get to the ring from Spa as well if you like smile

Just to be absolutely clear to everyone, mods etc, I have no affiliation to this organisation but have been on many trips before with them so just endorsing, assume that is ok
