I always try and go to this (in fact, I organised the gathering 4 years ago for the Museum), it's usually bluddy great, jam packed with classics, especially if the weather is dry. The last few years we've had cold weather, but clear blue skies, which makes the photos look even better. I won't be able to make it this year as I'm working, but if you are local and fancy it, please do go along, a great way to start the New Year!

Do I risk a humiliating non entry for my Barchetta or just go to the visitors car park ?

I meant to go this year but the weather was awful.

It says on their website "pre-1973 vehicles and pre-booked car clubs (and interesting or special younger vehicles, including supercars)" and I reckon that Fiats will come into the category of interesting as all the ones I see have the bonnets up, by the side of the road, with people looking at them. They would not do that if they were not interesting wink

Sometimes the test hill is open but I have found they usually mention it on the site if it is.
There is lots to see at the museum too

Yes,LOL .

I think a Barchetta is interesting due to its scarcity in the UK .

I'll turn up with the hood down, how can they possibly turn me away ?

Always nice to start the year with the family at a car event. Start as you mean to continue.

Looks like it's £11.00 with no concession to owners of classic cars.

4 years ago when I took the Aston I seem to remember there was a small discount and I think it was a fiver to get in but perhaps they realise it's a big draw and a chance to make some income.
